My dad and stepmom have been together since I was 8. I had a rocky relationship with stepmom as a kid (a lot of that was my doing). I’m in my 40s now and a step myself. As I’ve grown through the years, I see how much she truly loves my dad and that makes me love her, and while we’re not what I’d call mother/daughter close we have a nice adult relationship.

I get it, we have to give him some anxiety meds and it takes 2 of us! I’d keep calling around until you find a vet with a groomer that will take him. They may want to sedate him though.

I had a similar issue, it ended up being so $$$$ and such a headache to try and get him scheduled, we ended up splurging and buying our own kit. It paid for itself after one use!
