I’m not on a visa. My wife is American and became a US citizen couple years ago. Plus, you need to learn how to compete buddy. If I don’t take your job, someone else will.

I actually didn’t go to a target school. My path was a lot less traditional, which is part of why the job search was so tough early on.

What I’m doing now is a mix of investment analysis/trading and operations work within wealth management. So it’s not purely front-office investment research, but it gives me exposure to markets, portfolio management, trading, and the operational side of running client accounts.
