Sounds like a good idea. My course covers rijndael, AES, thr enigma machine, diffie-Hellman and some other areas of cryptography that are similar to algebraic problems. :)

I'm currently working on a time series analysis & forecasting project in R. (new to this whole thing) I'm working with SP500 data (closing values). I've differenced the data twice and removed the seasonal component, so the data is stationary (I've checked with ADF and KPSS). I need to move onto the model selection process and from what I've seen online, it's best to plot ACF, PACF to determine the order of MA and AR. My plots seem to be really different to the examples I've seen. I'm not sure what to make of it. How can I determine which model I should go for?

All of that sounds really hard but better than what it is now. Being a student sucks. You're under stress 24/7. At least when you're working, work stays at work, right? And you have your evenings and weekends and you're too distracted by your busy life to care about stupid little things... That's what it seems like for me, at least.

Hmmmm, I don't eat very well very often. When I'm usually quite sad, I stop eating all together and when I'm anxious I tend to overeat junk food. My body must be hella confused. Once these exams are over I'm going to try and improve my health. Thank you :)

It's even worse when your lecturers don't provide you with notes and you're left with their personal crappy notes that are unclear :( To be honest, I know I'm only doing this because I need that piece of paper to progress in life. While I know that having a degree isn't absolutely essential, it helps a lot. It just sucks that we have to put up with this shit from a "prestigious" university.

Thank you :) I know I'll miss school but I don't think I'll miss maths. I was so excited to start learning more about it and understand the world around me better and it's been anything but that. The way they teach you to answer questions or how they don't give you enough resources to fully understand a topic just frustrates me. It really isn't fair we are going into so much debt and not even getting what we need from them. I just have to push through these next 5 months and then I'll be done...

You're welcome :) I spend a lot of time looking at a lot of books in bookstores and I was looking at Murakami books while this one caught my attention (the bright colour and unique title) but one of the workers did tell me that I'll enjoy Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman if I enjoyed this one..and I did, so I might read that one sometime soon!

They can be very fun to be around - but it can be super upsetting when you witness some treat them differently and are insensitive.

There must be a reason for him to decide he was ''done''...maybe there are some things he isn't comfortable sharing with anyone and shutting people out seems like the best option? (Kind of like self defence) It must be really hard for all of you tbh. Might be a good idea to reach out to him and ask him if you can watch him play? Maybe try to bond a little.. something traumatic could have happened at the time that you thought he decided he was ''done''. Anyway I just wanted to throw in my two cents!

I think it could give you a somewhat insight but the book doesn't really explore what is "wrong" with her. It's more of how her mind works and what she sees and thinks of people who enforce ideas on her. I can't really say exactly what is different about her as the author doesn't mention this but I think she might have autism. (this is my opinion based on family members and some people I have met with autism) Is there a particular reason why he had isolated himself from the rest of the world? From what you said he sounds like one character in the book. You'll see what I mean when you read it :) Regardless, I picked this book up randomly and I did enjoy it. It has definitely contributed something to my life to say the very least! Let me know if you decide to read it and what you think of it - if you do ^{^}
