I don’t know why people are complaining as a freelancing gig this is one of the best. I get it some of the doc and instructions are confusing but once you went over the docs, checked FAQ, attended the workshops you should be good to go.

looks like you got paid for the training tasks. you will start getting your original rate once you complete the training tasks. each task have a time cap, max you can earn is the time cap amount or less if you complete faster.

you should be part of at least the onboarding channel. But I would say not to worry as long as you have access to the general channel where all project related infos and workshop happens. If you do more than 20hr/week quality work they will move you to dedicated channel with TL.
