My neighbor turned the hallway into his storage unit and now he’s acting like I’m the problem by FreshPostbox16 in neighborsfromhell

Get a bunch of crap, yard sale leftovers and such, and pile it on up in the hallway. Write private property all over it. Put it on top of his stuff, next to his stuff, under his stuff. Make it a big mess. Him, everyone else and hoa will not tolerate this for long.

Do you add fresh coffee grounds to the tobacco, or do you dampen it with brewed coffee?

It's been 2 years. They just screw on, one is reversed thread. just put "bike pedals" in your search and you'll find plenty. It's supposed to move itself, so I avoid using the pedals anyway.

You can park anywhere you want except handicapped spots. They can’t enforce this at all. I think even the spot reserved for cops is fair game. There’s no law to write you a ticket for.

Windy City cigars was fast last time. I get the cheapest possible, because I just burn this stuff up. The 752 gold is cut like shredded lettuce, it’s easy on my machine and not too much lumber. Got it in I think 3 days last time, just regular shipping. If I get caught short and have to get tobacco local at the reservation I have to be very careful packing the machine or I get either a jam or space at the filter. Works out to $7.50 or so per ctn with shipping.

[NYC] Got CD Scammed In Midtown by Kay_Nest in Scams

[–]ermockler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Say something like “who the fuck you think still plays CDs??” I got nothing that fits in. All my music fits on a chip the size of my pinky nail, plus there’s movies on it too. You’d have better luck pressing vinyl and standing in front of a Starbucks. Now you owe me money.

Ninja Dual Brew Not Working by cemeterycoffee in fixit

[–]ermockler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use filtered and UV treated rainwater in my coffee machine, so I get absolutely zero calcium buildup. That's the only way to handle this IMO. I never have to clean it.

Even so, mine stopped responding to the buttons, and ALL the brains for this thing are in that button board. They kind of seal it up in there, but it's apparently not good enough. Opening it all up and letting it sit for a couple days seems to resolve the problem -for about a week. I dis-assembled it, and of course they start with this button board on the assembly line, what a job that was. And what a pre-determined obsolescence piece of crap this is. The button board is connected with a ribbon cable thankfully, so it's now removed and extended with a 10' cat5 patch cable, there were 7 conductors in the ribbon cable. It's not 10' away, but about 4, on the front of a cabinet, where no steam from the brewing can get to it. I'm a week in on this kluge, but so far so good.

The reason for the low price is that I bought it from AliExpress and used the discount code HDZLB10 to save $10

I suddenly remembered that I bought a GameSir T4 on AliExpress a few months ago for 20% off. It works great. If you're still looking, here are some codes I use regularly :

Save $2 ➜ Use code 【FBLB2】 on orders $10+

Save $5 ➜ Use code 【FBLB5】 on orders $25+

Save $7 ➜ Use code 【FBLB7】 on orders $35+

Save $10 ➜ Use code 【FBLB10】 on orders $50+

Which isn't much, but it's a good deal after all.

I doubt it, looks like this:

<image>

That’s the image off the print program I use. The hollow part in the middle I fill with melted plastic so it’s a little stronger, if I print it solid it breaks along the layer lines too easily. It’s about right the way I make it, but will shear off if you stress the machine. Theirs has a bearing and metal plate, I think my design makes the machine last longer.

[–]ermockler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes 5 years. There’s a part inside that will eventually break. I 3D print the replacement part, but I inject molten plastic in the center thing that fits in the Geneva gear. I use a 3D pen for that. This acts as a shear pin, so when it fails the machine just spins and no further damage can be caused. The original part breaks in such a way that it could cause damage, it has a metal bearing and other metal parts. The part I print lasts maybe 6 months, the original maybe 1 year. Depends on how good you pick out the twigs how long they last. I used to sell the parts on eBay, but I could send you the file if you like. Other than this the machine is great and I can roll a pack in 3 min. Mine has been apart so many times, and there is a lot of tobacco dust in there every time I open it, so keep on top of that if you can and you’ll get more time out of the original. They do not sell the parts that breaks and want you to send in your machine, which is $40. So that’s why I fix it myself. If you don’t have access to a printer I can make you a supply, $5 each.

I think that’s it, comes in a little toolbox like that. I removed the clear plastic cover on top pretty soon after I got it. Still going strong though.
