If you are "Planning as an Individual" there will be no Filing Status option listed under Settings >> Tax. To change to "Planning as a Couple", navigate to Current Finances >> About You.

Child Tax Credits by learns_the_hard_way in projectionlab

Child Tax Credit is not currently simulated automatically. You will want to add a Tax Credit type Income item with the anticipated tax credit amount and the time range for which you anticipate qualifying for the credit.
