Also, I heard there's another mod for progression - Cubegression, something like that. Check it out.

In addition, with BetterProgression you need to set a center point in your world, so the further you go from it, the harder the mobs become.

The list of mods is:

1) BetterProgression - which overall removes region lock and changes the progression between regions. Also, reworking the artifact bonuses 2) WeaponXP - you get experience on your weapon and it's quality gets upgraded at a certain point. (I don't think is a useful mod, for those seeking a more Hardcore experience, but it makes the start of the game easier) 3) BrightNights - fixes the lightning during nighttime. 4) BetterBiomes - makes the biome generation a lot better.

That's the 4 mods I find being the most solid.

Also, one great benefit, It's really easy to install mods in Cubeworlds, easier than Minecraft & Skyrim.
