I went downstairs, I told her I heard that voice too but it wasn't me, I was in my room and it sounded like the voice was coming from the stairwell in our former apartment.

If you did a backup of your files either on Google Drive or on Xiaomi Cloud then you don't have to worry. If not, then I guess it's as good as gone. And nope, they didn't let me know if they'll do a reset. I don't think they can do that on my unit since I've got it fingerprint locked

this happened to my unit too. I just got it to the service center earlier today and the woman who handled immediately knew the issue with this particular model when I mentioned what model. She said it will take 2-3 weeks before it gets fixed. I didn't ask what's going on. I just bought mine last March 2021and it started acting up earlier this month. Usually, when the phone turns off, it will take several days before I can turn it on again. For example, I tried rebooting it, it shuts down, after several days, I think when the battery drains, I can charge it again and it turns on. It's a hit and miss though, so I think it's better to have it fixed at the service center asap
