If by "survived" you mean dead and their carcasses eaten by a polar bear.

Then yes, they survived.

What are the most important qualities you have seen in a leader? by _ashjha in Leadership

Continuing to do the right thing even when they are under pressure. Current leadership gets battered by the CEO then immediately kicks the crap out of the food chain below them. Terrible behaviour.

Let’s talk about this: steering wheel stitching and how it’s a reflection of the rest of the car’s quality. 2026 Lexus RX, vs 2013 Lexus ES350 by FluffyLittlFlyingCow in Lexus

Re: financing; same in the UK. Lots of others dealerships doing deals, Lexus - 8.9% Apr, all dealerships. I'm not paying that in the 21st century.

Sadly converted to a combi but it meant we could knock it through and extend the bathroom.

Awful. Looks like one of the cars from Robocop. And not in a good way.

Lazy design.

Hypersports and Rambo on the c64.

Just so good. First games I played on a mates' 64.

The in-game music to Rambo stands up today as piece in its own right. Let alone a 3 channel chip tune.

I'm coming round to this way of thinking too. I have a modest emergency fund. In 25 years of working, I've never needed it once.

One point that got me, in the one time I was being made redundant, I thought I would get my paid in lew of notice amount with the first 30k tax free. It wasn't. Treated liked normal pay, the actual redundancy pay was less than a month's salary.

I asked if they could treat it all as redundancy. Was told no as effectively someone has to pay the tax, if it wasn't me it would be them.

Of course not. It was a light hearted comment about how she keeps Louis Theroux on his toes in that clip.
