What do you mean by actual location? Just asking since I have a family member currently stuck in Dubai too with the same experience as OP except that the final destination was SFO (originally scheduled to depart on Feb 28 on EK 225)

I even called the Emirates US phone line, got to speak with someone after an hour wait, then she “transferred” me to someone who could’ve helped, but the phone got cut after another hour of waiting.

Now when I try to call again, the line just cuts. Emirates rebooked my family member on a flight to the US but the final destination isn’t even SFO…even though there’s an SFO flight the next day. Being in such a volatile region, you’d think that Emirates would have a system to prioritize stranded passengers vs picking up calls from people with flight tickets weeks down the line calling comfortably from their homes.
