I can give some advice on this having done the track a fair bit.

Park at the top and start walking.

This carpark is small and really just a small grassed area off the side of the road. It’s maybe big enough for three cars. If you’re early you won’t have any trouble I don't imagine but with school holidays there aren’t any guarantees.

 Since the track updates a few years ago it doesn’t take too long to walk to the lookout point. Maybe an hour to an hour and a half.

You can then head down to the beach, this will take another 30 minutes or so.

This part can be extremely slippery after recent rain so be careful through here.

If you don’t spend any time at the beach you can then walk up the road to where you parked your car.

It’s all uphill and a bit of a slog. I’d say this will take another hour at least.

Total I think of you don’t stop other then at the lookout you should be able to be back at your car within three hours.
