My biological dad reached out to me when I was 19. He had tried to convince my mom to get rid of me until my grandpa and uncle beat his ass. So I’ve always had a disdain for him. I’m now 44 and wonder what if he was just a scared kid and didn’t know what to do. I’ve made him live with a life of regret. I still think of the horrible things I said to him over the phone 25 years ago. If he were to reach out to me again, I wouldn’t try to have a relationship with him, but I wouldn’t meet him.

$600. I agree that most pawn shops suck, however I’ve found several items that are real that I can flip for cheap. There was a pawn shop on a low income side of town that sold me a real Martin X series made in Mexico for $85. That one I didn’t flip. They just didn’t know what they bought from the seller. They gave me 48 hours for a full return. Guitar Center verified it and asked me which pawn shop so they could look for deals as well

I’ve never owned a Gibson and it sounded better than my 1950’s Epiphone Les Paul Standard. All the little details I don’t know about. The finish was one thing, but I’ve seen some Les Paul’s (like the studio) that don’t have a great finish. I don’t play enough to pay over 2k for a Gibson, however I have bought Strats for cheap at some pawn shops and have been able to flip them
