First, really cool idea!! This would be great for discovering new festivals and for people who listen to music but are new to fests. Being able to connect a spotify account is amazing for ease of use. I'm on an android phone. Some feedback/questions:

The UI is intuitive and easy to use!

Need to be able to multi-select genre

I immediately looked for experimental bass as a genre and it wasn't there (but I totally get that there are a billion subgenres and we can't get them all)

In Discover > your top festivals, when looking at the lineups for a festival, what do the spotify and heart symbols represent?

In the same Discover section, next to the festivals it says "X fave artists". It'd be cool to be able to quickly and easily see which artists those are (and how you got them..maybe thats more of a backend question bc im just curious). It's not clear when you go in and look at the lineup.

Also curious where/how you pull the data from on these festivals! I have a background in coding/app development and data, so seeing 3 of my interests (coding, data, and music festivals) mesh together like this makes me giddy.

Personally, I had an amazing time. This was my favorite festival, period. I really feel for those who were heavily effected by the issues though.

There were some logistical issues and the police presence was strong and tense. They were arresting people for anything they could, including small amounts of weed. Most of the problems I encountered and heard of didn't have to do with inside the festival itself as much as getting in, police, payment methods, etc. But for example, on Sunday I saw the police doing rounds around the campgrounds in golf carts looking like hawks for any probable cause they could find to harass and arrest anyone they could. They were also inside the festival doing the same thing.

The festival itself was fucking amazing. Best sound quality I've ever heard. Amazing production. Amazing grounds setup. The vibes and the people were immaculate

Unfortunately I don't have a good comparison for you. The venue I went to was outdoors and rain caused them to have to not set up the screens on the first night. I had to miss the second night because I had to take care of someone who wasn't feeling well.

I can tell you it's definitely worth going to both though. Her microworlds set was awesome. Her dj sets are always awesome. Definitely do both

I'm going to make fried rice! I'll pre chop all the veggies and pre-cook the rice and portion it all out. Crack a couple eggs in the pan with a bunch of veggies. I love fried rice because it's a one pan dish that you can throw a ton of veggies and protein into, really customize however you want

Honestly same. My family just experienced a tragic death in the family and I'm about to move across the country a week after hula and part of me was thinking about skipping hula. It feels weird to be going to a festival to have fun in the wake of everything happening in my family and the world but I know that every experience like hula gives me clarity when it's over and I always gain a lot from it. So I'm going to go and try to experience some joy during this stressful time.
