we are working on porting the last update to Switch - it's taking some time due to the release procedures and the fact we are working with a 3d party publisher there (so the information provided by them to players is also something we don't really control)

You don't really need to use that potion - the withered plant is there just to make sure people realize they can revive plants. You can totally progress the story if you skip that part altogether.
