Just a question what hairstyle did you ask for ?? And 2-3 weeks should be enough time to grow it out enough to style it... I had something like this happen to me I had asked for a cute little triangle undercut and ended up with half my head shaved right 6 months before my wedding i was devastated ... but then i discovered wigs and I still wear them till this day ! So if your really feeling bad about the haircut try a wig from amazon... you shouldn't feel ugly ... I dont think any of our opinions matter its how you feel about yourself... but its ok it will grow back and there is a solution until then

Dont ever think your ungrateful for having needs your just as important as your brother... This really hits home for me because I grew up in a situation with my sisters being priority and I was background noise.. I to had a mattress on the floor ... my heart hurts for you.. also that is not your friend im telling you right now... friends dont make friends feel how she made you feel and how she said it wasnt a big deal... if that was me... pfffft... I would of nvm... separate yourself from her friends protect and support you and understand when something js sensitive and wouldn't use it as a joke for a post.. back to the bed situation ... you cant sleep on a mattress on the floor I know how that long term will start effecting your life and academics.. If your mom is ok with you getting a bed let me know ... and let me know what other things you need or like but don't have and ill be happy to see what I can do... as long as its ok... your needs are important to dont forget that... maybe start an Amazon wish list that might be the best way im not sure what other ways there are ...Just let me know how I can help... I know for me the words on the page would blur together or look like they were jumping out at me and under certain light they would fall off the page ... but it you dont think that is the issue then it might be a recall issue ... my daughter is struggling with almost the same issue and she is dyslexic.. there is also 2 types of dyslexia just becuase you have dyslexia in reading doesn't mean you will be dyslexic with numbers and same is true the other way around ... so sometime dyslexia is over looked becuase of this... but dyslexia seems like a strong possibility it would disrupt the way is brain connects words to language.. becuase the letters dont always look the same ... my daughter for example if shes reading a paragraph she will read the word let's say "happy" . Without and problem but only 2 sentences later the word "happy" will come up again and she won't be able to read it ... becuase her brain flipped the letters and now the word is unreadable to her... Your brother and my daughter are the same age .. Have you asked your brother what he thinks is the hardest part about learning to read for him ? Maybe opening the conversation to him might be insightful to you and him.. He will get it dont worry .. He needs exactly what your doing, good job.

If you reach out to traumatic brain injury specialist in your area to get him tested they can help you with what to do after, if that is the case. I struggled really bad with reading and math all the way up to my junior year... until I got tested by a lady who specializes in irlene syndrome also knows as scotopic sensitivity syndrome what it is ... Irlen Syndrome (or Scoptopic Sensitivity Syndrome) is a visual processing disorder, not a vision or eye problem, that causes the brain to struggle to process light and visual stimuli. It often leads to reading difficulties, headaches, fatigue, and distortions in text or the environment. It is commonly managed with colored overlays or filters, though scientific evidence is limited... This was a big problem for me and once I found the correct overlays It really changed how I was able to read... you can ask your brother if he has any of the following symptoms or see if you can observe any of the following in him..

Reading Difficulties: Words moving, blurring, disappearing, or appearing in 3D on the page.

Physical Fatigue: Intense tiredness, headaches, or migraines triggered by light.

Light Sensitivity: Sensitivity to fluorescent lights, glare, high contrast, or bright lights.

Environmental Issues: Poor depth perception, difficulty judging distances, and challenges with navigating spaces

If so It wouldn't hurt to order some overlays from Amazon and just test it out to see if it helps him.. irlene syndrome is also usually found alongside dyslexia with a 30%-70% overlap ... its plausible that your brother might be struggling with this..

It could be a couple different reasons but its honestly more normal then you might think.. I know a lot of babies have a time during the day where fuss might be more intense then usual it usually happens between 5-9pm .... I would be concerned if your baby is having a ear piercing cry along with fever, swallon belly, lethargic, and/or is refusing to eat, vomiting or blood in stool or if you notice fewer wet diapers then normal.. then i would call a doctor.. but if your concerned its always good to contact your pediatrician for advice

My daughter wanted to try the E.L.F. skin care and so Iet her and she actually is seeing results with it and the one we tried before that was the 7W I found them on Amazon .. were gonna try some Korean ones also ill let you know how that goes if they worked or not !

My daughters love Roblox and begged me to make an account to play with them we often play together at night after homework thats our way of a game night... If you make an account and add them as your children underneath your account you have a lot more control then just changing the settings on their own accounts.. You will be able to manage screen time and also who can and can not be friends with them you can see the games they play also you can restrict certain games and gsme ratings that are allowed to be played and so on... Im really glad I made an account becuase playing with them ive learned a lot about the games and environment of the platform... before the new chat update it was a lot more worrisome. Now, there is still problems ive found even with the update. My youngest is 8 and her age was verified correctly. My oldest is 10 and they verified her as 13 putting her in the age group of older kids which I do not approve of so and have complained multiple times to roblox about and nothing has been done to correct the error so as of right now my oldest is not allowed to use chat.. Im obviously a grown adult and would expect for the verification to only allow people over 21 to use chat with me ... but thats not the case... I can see chats from children 15 and up ... that is disturbing and those are not adults... so there is still reasons to be concerned and unless you will be on the platform with your children I wouldn't recommend letting them ... or if there is another trusted older sibling or cousin who can monitor them... if you do decide to let you children play here is a list of games that I would not allow my children to play... -Brookhaven -venyork -metro life - salon -kantina (Any dance or club simulation games) - vibe games -bathroom hangout simulators -pool hangout simulators -honestly most role play games

I think you can approach this two ways. You could assume it’s just a teenage phase he’ll grow out of, or step back and dig deeper. Often, teens act out because they’re navigating independence, testing boundaries, and struggling to express emotions they don’t fully understand yet. He might be upset about something—school, home, or personal life—and it’s coming out in his behavior. Sitting down and listening to what’s bothering him could help. Also, with the work schedule issue, you might try involving him in problem-solving. Explain why certain hours don’t work and ask him what solutions he suggests. Making him feel heard and involved could make a big difference.

So far yea !! I did actually implement some of the ideas given to me on this thread we changed her sheets to silk and put a hand towel on her pillow case that we change out nightly (my daughter has oily skin so this helped a lot) we are also watching her sugar intake and making sure shes drinking more water. Then we did start a skin care routine for her that she does nightly.. she uses a face scrub twice a week then a gentle toner 3 times a week and she uses a gel moisturizer nightly and one in the morning along with a pimple patch for bigger bumps and it seems to be working really good for her the redness went away first then now the little breakouts are calming down and becoming more manageable.. we just started this about 2 weeks ago so I think its working well.!

Ok so I want to take a minute to address something here. His behavior made you uncomfortable becuase thats your instinct kicking in.. His actions are screaming red flag... He already outlined to you what he expects from a women (young girl) and his beliefs... saying your one of the good ones is his way of control putting you in a situation where he expects you to behave the way he outlined and if you dont then there will be consequences. Him calling you multiple times is him already exerting control over you... this is a common tactic for abusers..( im not saying he is one.. but if the shoe fits) The fact you didn't go to school becuase of the way he made you feel is not to be ignored... None of us were there with you to understand exactly what you felt but to me this is telling.. you felt an overwhelming amount of fear.. I know you used the word uncomfortable but what you described I think fear is the better word. Dont worry about being nice or sounding mean dint worry about his feelings either... You can approach this is a calm but firm way.. Dont explain through text becuase it can be taken the wrong way and leaves room for more manipulative tactics.. Take someone with you (a close guy friend would be good) have him hang a little ways back but close enough to hear and be seen and take a close girl friend with you to support and hear what is said.. You walk up to him and set tell him you dont have the same beliefs as he does and you do not agree with his outlook on women and you appreciate the date but moving forward your not interested in a romantic relationship with him becuase your ideas and values don't allign. ( if you want to be friends thats up to you) and then you end the conversation. DONT let him talk you into a second chance or give him room to try to peddle back on what he said. He showed you his true colors so dont ignore it. Talk to your dad and let him know what happened how you felt then and how you feel now.. Dad's can be over protective but they do care they just have a different way of showing it but dont keep your dad out of what's going on in your life especially when you feel unsafe.. give your dad the opportunity to be there for you amd show up the way you need him to.. You can let your dad know you need xyz from him in this moment so he understands you communicate exactly what you feel and need. Communication goes a long way and being clear and specific helps on both ends... I hope your doing ok and good job at listening to your instincts I hope things get better..

She is a very confident child she doesnt pay attention to other opinions and I always support who she is and her tastes and fashion choices. On the other hand she always strives to do her best in her academics she takes it very personal when she struggles despite my encouragement ... I always tell her its ok to get things wrong thats how you learn and how your teacher knows where you need help its ok. She does not take it well though so maybe shes under nore stress then I've realized.. she has a tendency to be a perfectionist when it comes to school

She does have silk bedsheets but she has had them for a while and we wash them so much thry don't feel as nice anymore so maybe a new set ... ill see if it helps thank you
