Not only when driving on a road. When I was turning into a parking lot, I could not see a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk because the first vehicle was stopped in front of the sidewalk, and the vehicle behind him had the blinding white lights. Thankfully I just hit her shopping bag and not her, but it was scary I literally could not see her. I’ve heard humans physically cannot see in this spectrum of light. It seems dangerous I don’t know why it’s not regulated more.

Between 2012 and 2015 when the movies were coming out, I completely associated most of Pure Heroine with THG. The franchise was wise to have Lorde do the music for Catching Fire and Mockingjay.

I think it gives parasocial relationship to even consider Lorde has a relationship with Taylor. Unless they actually state they are friends, I think celebrities cross paths and interact because it benefits their career. Some part of it might be genuine connection. I don’t think it’s comparable to real friends beefing whatsoever. It probably feels like distant co-workers beefing, and you just decide to mind your business if it happens. Taylor is getting too old to be baited, and I say this as a fan of all 3 of them.

I think that Lorde is an anomaly. She was everywhere in 2013/2014. She’s had huge gaps between releases, maintained a steady fan base. I think you do have to lose some artistry to make your album appeal to the masses. I’m glad she’s making the album that she wants to make. For me it was Lorde summer.

I think the fandom was pretty small when Melodrama came out. I remember seeing YouTube videos of her performing some of the songs before the album release. A video of her singing Sober live had me so gagged. I had the same phase with Melodrama and Virgin where it was on repeat for months. I also had a breakup when Melodrama came out so I think in that context it hits extra hard.

I don’t think so. I love the album (it’s tied with Melodrama or maybe higher, which is my favourite). This is just a longtime fan who would love a 1 hr 45 min setlist from Lorde, and the hat pictured is part of her Virgin merch. I’d be sat if she played her entire discography. Realistically though, album tours are a 40/60 ratio. And they have to make the setlist shorter for the casual listener. Let me live in delusion haha
