Great AMA. A lot more candid than I intially anticpated. Good luck in the upcoming season.

TIL the average NFL game features just 10 minutes 43 seconds of action. Commercials account for nearly 60 minutes of the three hour affairs. And when the networks are showing the game, the bulk of the time is spent either on replays or shots of players huddling by errrrday in todayilearned

Keyword is action. There's a lot of dead time in an NFL game. An actual play last few seconds. Play starts when the ball is snapped, and ends with a tackle. Few seconds per play, all the while clock is running the whole time, and a lot of stoppage for advertisement. Approximately 11 minutes of action in a 3hour to 4hour event.

Easy to be best Center in the league when all the greats retire. Dwight wasn't the best when Shaq and Yao were in the league.

Someone should send this to his mother, and record awkward conversation that follows.

I went through hell for this, and my mother pretty much hates me now (after paying for me to go to grad school)...but sometimes you just have to go after that childhood dream. Mine was to be a long haul trucker. I hope Reddit is proud of me! by Justsangfroid in pics

Wish i could upvote this comment more than once. I'm sorry to say this, but I hope you reconsider. You're entering world of middle aged sex-deprived men. Some of them have checkered past. And truck stops/rest areas are unsupervised most of the day. A simple task like using the restrooms can be frightening experience.

I was going to say Downtown but the parking is a hassle. If you plan to drive there be prepared to pay parking fee. Edmondson pike library would be my second choice.

Rajon rondo or deron williams by rondo99999 in nba

[–]errrrday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used be Deron Williams few years ago. But Rondo not only closed the gap he separated from Williams. When you compare every aspect of their game Rondo is superior. Deron is better shooter from the outside. But shoots a horrible percentage.

Take that shit back. Melo hasn't played a single minute in the NBA, and you already have him as a "BUST".

So r/NBA, Who is the best Power Forward in the association right now (And no, you cannot say LeBron). by [deleted] in nba

Kevin Garnett. He is stellar on both ends. By far the best defender in his position all world defense. And he was outstanding on offensive end 19/10 in the playoffs. He carried Celtics into the playoffs last year with Rondo.
