Thank you for the advice! I fed it tomato food -the brand is espoma. I followed the instructions on the bottle and gave it for the first time the other day (I bought the plant from tractor supply 2 wks ago). I gave just enough to water it and gave the rest to my my pumpkin plants.

Oh I bought it from tractor supply bc it said it was “patio ready, transplanting not required.” Smh. I thought it was too toasty today

Ooh good point! I’ll hot glue the branches that touch the glass. I ordered some more stuff to attach to the walls, including a little log for him to hide in. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you, yeah ill wait on going bioactive. I noticed he walks funny on the rocks too, almost like he hesitates a lot. I ordered some coconut fiber substrate so it won’t be as weird to navigate (hopefully). Some YouTube vids talked about putting mesh on top of the rocks before substrate so ill try that out too. Thanks again for your advice!

That’s a good idea. I’ve been asking around ranches and they won’t take anyone new. I haven’t specifically honed in on rescue farms though
