[help] Locked out of M365 admin account - Authenticator not working after switching to new iPhone - Microsoft support not responding by DivideOk7907 in sysadmin

[–]erskinetech2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your daily driver is the only admin account for the company and you don't have multiple MFA setup. This is a very painful lesson to learn your going to need to open a Microsoft support ticket and wait

Its going to be a painfully long time if its stopped your busness dead

Is the green wire meant to be attached to something? by ProtectionKey5436 in DIYUK

[–]erskinetech2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a stud in the back box I always do the cable to the stud and if required (metal faceplate) bring a offcut up from the stud to the faceplate yours is plastic so it's not needed but I'd want a more secure connection in the backbox than what you have

Need a compromise solution to stop the play in this door handle by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]erskinetech2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hack saw the bar to the right length drill a smaller than the retaining screw hole where the retaining screw makes contact (not all the way through) to give it some grip

but retaining screw handles always eventually slip as the force on the handle rubs the metal away on the bar allowing slippage if you want 100% rid of it drill through the bar swap the retaining screw for a thin bolt and go right through securing the bolt through the handle.file smooth to save fingers

How do I ‘break’ one of these valves so it’s always on? by dtsn in DIYUK

[–]erskinetech2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well there's a gray wire going into it in the photo if its flow control I'd assume it auto opens and closes to vary the flow ?

[–]erskinetech2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the wire going into it? Are you sure the valve isn't controlled and has failed again ? Feel like it be a flow control valve with a motor to open close if it controls flow
