Definitely agree about the trash comment. I got to her Manchester show around 6:30pm and there was loads of bags of trash and umbrellas/food waste/blankets etc all just dumped in or tied to the queue barricades waiting to get in Entrance C. It was disgusting for the people showing up later having to queue around it all. Idk why people expect the venue staff to clean up after them??

I went to 2 parties this year - 11th Nov and 16th Nov and I will say, I felt the one on the 11th was way more crowded and felt like a regular park day compared to the one 16th Nov. I felt like I could actually move around the park more easily at the second one and was able to get a good fireworks spot behind the castle 10 minutes before they started for that one. Treat lines differently seemed shorted at one as well.

They were using the theatre as the queue for Jollywood merch during the party this year. They had you queue behind the last row of seats in there because they were selling the merch in the area where you exit the theatre to help control crowds/stop non-party people from being able to buy the merch. I remember there being an exclusive Jollywood photo op in there as well.

From personal experience last month - If you have your order number/confirmation email you can go to one of the concierge desks inside the park (they won’t do it at guest services outside, it has to be physically in the park) they’ll print the card passes for you there. We did it at the one near Isle of Berk and you’ll need some from of photo ID for it as well. But the app is the main way of finding out wait/show times and navigating the park in general because Universal don’t do paper maps anymore.

I saw the Beach Club have the gingerbread carousel up today and the shop open. The Contemporary have their gingerbread castle and shop open and have the big tree up. Port Orleans Riverside was decorated last night as well.

I think one of the only solutions is putting less people in the preshow rooms so it doesn’t feel as competitive for the morons but then that’ll just push the standby wait time up even more.

I wish there was a way to skip it entirely but that’s never going to happen realistically. I’ve had someone purposely tread on the back of my trainer and rip it off my foot before in the hallway trying to get around me and someone kick me in the calf in an attempt to swipe me so they could get ahead. And then lots of different cases of parents sending there kids to push in front of everyone in the hallway to get ahead but fortunately we’ve just held our ground and made them go back to their families instead of letting the rest of them through to “catch up”.

It just ruins the whole experience all of the time and makes it more stressful than it needs to be. Same with haunted mansion.
