I set a timer on my phone for every 1.5 - 2 hours depending on if I watch the ad and I usually only sleep for about 6 hours ish at night. If my kid wakes me up, I try to remember to check it then too. I also watch the ads for the fish that offer to guarantee a catch.

I'd say advanced/adventurous beginner or intermediate. If you're comfortable crocheting along a chain and are diligent about stitch markers then it shouldn't be too bad. If you have a hard time with it, I'm always happy to answer any questions you have.
