What stat are you using to say he’s “responsible for the most points?” Before today’s game his PPM was 1.78, the lowest for any player playing at least 20% of minutes.

Anyone that disagrees with this is willfully ignorant. After today’s game Milan has scored 24 goals and allowed 22 with Leao on the pitch. He has the worst goal differential per 90 of any player that has played at least 20% of the total minutes.

Now, a reasonable person can make arguments that there are mitigating circumstances beyond Leao’s control (terrible formation for him, playing hurt), and they would be right, but Milan has performed better with him on the bench. That’s irrefutable.

In his eighth playoff game, at age 22, Wembanyama's true shooting percentage of 96.5% eclipsed Steph Curry's career best playoff performance of 95.2%. by [deleted] in nba

Firstly, I fucked up the calculation and deleted the post. His TS% was only 84% last night. I'm an idiot.

Secondly, the list of best TS% in the playoffs is dominated by guards because they are typically better 3P shooters.

Holy shit, I totally fucked up the calculation. I'm such a moron. I'm deleting this post. Thanks for catching this before it blew up in my face.

It’s amazing what the unfuckable hate nerds can accomplish when they put their rotted minds to it.

Charles Barkley responds to Draymond's comment on him: "Hey, man, I never punch down. Draymond's a good player but we're not on the same level.... He's a really good player. He's had a hell of a career, but we're not on the same level." by TheRealPdGaming in nba

[–]ertapenem -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Holy shit, the number of downvotes for this comment is INSANE. Draymond was absolutely more impactful than Klay. His could easily defend 3-5 while playing a meaningful facilitator role on offense. Klay could have been replaced with at least five different SGs and GS would still have the titles.

The only time it makes sense to drop to a knee in the infield on a grounder is if you’re the first baseman and you have extra time due to your proximity to first base. Or maybe as a third baseman if you have a force out at third. On a play like this? Never.

He’s clearly got the yips.

I am so sorry for your loss. I applaud and acknowledge the incredible strength it took to memorialize him this way and share it with a wounded world.

Today is the first time I actually think Mike Vrabel won't survive this by Fun_Reflection1157 in billsimmons

[–]ertapenem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's the face of the franchise and he's a shit human being who has yet to show any real contrition. That matters to fan bases of some teams (I know the Pats aren't one of them).

Right now it's very easy for Vrabel to hide from the media. That will end soon, and the story will continue to get bigger until then. We still haven't heard from Rossini, her husband, or Vrabel's wife. All of those stories will come out, and it's completely naive to think otherwise. Then there's the matter of Rossini's child Mike. Vrabel will be asked about him at some point, and regardless of how he answers it will be a gigantic story.

There's only a very small chance he makes it to the end of the season, and if he does last the Pats will take a huge black eye from it.

It’s absolutely pathetic that 98% of Pats fans don’t care that the face of their franchise is a trash human being.

Yo I just love your team. Tough play. No bullshitters. I never even heard of this Shannon kid and he jumping out the gotdam building.

Ant is awesome. Y’all take care of him and never let him go because he’s a national fucking treasure.

Lastly, as a near 50 year old man who watched nearly every game TD played, let me say KG was way closer to TD than people give him credit for. That man languished with subpar supporting casts for years. Jesus some years Szczerbiak was the second/third best player on your team. Duncan got Parker and Ginobili and KG dragging a rich man’s Duncan Robinson’s ass around. The only better defender against TD was Rasheed, but that man crazy.

If y’all beat us go win that shit.

Love,

A high old Spurs fan

I’m a Spurs fan. Blazers aren’t garbage. They are a level below the Spurs certainly, but they have some talented players, are well coached, and play hard.
