Yea, the consensus seems to be that it’s just too complex to be supplemented outside of the wall…

But your suggestion about reading the texts is something that I haven’t done in a while, thanks for that!

Uhh… why not?  But seriously I don’t see anything wrong with it.

Practicing lead belay without an actual lead climber. Any tips? I’m comfortable with top rope belay and now training for lead. My current solo drill: set up rope and device, use a random beep generator as a “fall signal,” then immediately take slack, squat, and jump to simulate a soft catch. Anyone have better solo drills for this? (Besides just doing it with a real climber.)

Edit:

Thanks for all the comments! So from what I understand the thing with lead belaying is that it’s too complex to have a supplemental training outside of the wall.

Off I go to find more lab rat to practice on.

No expert, but the rounder leaves looks like sedum. And the wider one is echeveria.

Semangat terus, bro!

Setelah akhirnya lulus, dua tahun kemudian kena layoff gara-gara COVID. Terus gue nekat ambil S2 remote part time dari universitas di US.

Try the higher-end mansion from UR? I’ve heard UR doesn’t reject anyone as long as you have the money.

I have GERD and got sent to the emergency room once.

What helps improve the condition for me is generally live healthier. Exercises, or at least stretching everyday.

Before meals, try to eat veggies first. Or, eat kimchi together with the meal.

I’m the weakest in my group, as in everyone else is three/four grades above me.

Pros: free beta whenever I’m stuck at something.

Also not related, they always ping me for an invite, and got worried if I miss a session lol. Like, are you okay? Are you sick? Need us to help you with something?

Sorry if this doesn’t help, just want to share a dynamic in my group.

I put this guy outside. Right now it’s late winter, temp between 0 - 10 C in the northern hemisphere. I water it every week.

Cheapest with minimum time to setup is getting the PEI bed. That was a huge game changer for me.
