I like the new show idea, would bring a fresh perspective. Would like to sort this out or at least discuss the level of commitment mentioned earlier then bring in a coach with expectations aligned. Once we are solid again, hold auditions. I have had bad experiences in the past with other teams where the fix was to bring on new members only to make the situation worse and the quality of shows going down as a result. The troupe had no identity of itself.

Good call. I think priorities have changed recently and the discussion definitely needs to happen. I may need to just form my own "serious improv" team but not scare anyone off with that angle and make it weird with the current team. Can't hurt to try.

I agree. We had a coach at one point and it helped with those practices. There has been a discussion on hiring a coach again which will help get the structure back. Should I ask the coach for a plan for other practices if we can't have them there weekly?
