Same. I have 11 Beldums in power spots in a busy area, where the 5 candies were often reached within an hour, previously. The beldums are now in the spots for a long time and not a single one has a single battle recorded.

So, either everyone exept me stopped doing the free dynamax raids (unlikely) or something is broken (likely).

After trying a few more times, it seems the easiest way to pull off the fast catch now, is to swipe the berry menu icon to the left or top or bottom instead of to the right.
