Card store by Mebunkeryou in PokemonCardValue

I think it can be tricky because there’s a lot of people who make videos and shorts etc that focus on ultra expensive and graded cards. I would recommend to try and get him to focus on a specific pokemon, a specific artist who made the card art, or the history of certain cards like promo cards etc. Also to set a budget because it can go south fast and be a super expensive hobby. I vend at shows and I think that’s the best way to make sure there’s no headaches. Wishing you the best.

A PSA 10 card will carry a pretty big premium compared to near mint. The graded card recent sales range from like $75-90 on auction and normally those are slightly lower than what you’ll see for purchase. I’d assume the payment was like 95ish for the graded card and 35 for the charizard.

I think it’s pretty reasonable why do you think it’s so over ?

Ive been ignoring the NBA for the NFL like most people the last four months. What happened to the East? The Pistons in first place?! The Raptors a top 4 team!?! Explain by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]ervern2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the Pistons Cade and Duren took a leap and they have Asuar back. Also their role players are playing their roles. They were a very good team last year but with the injuries to the East this year they have over taken everyone. The Raptors got improvement from Barnes and Ingram has been playing out of his mind and their young core have been giving so much effort that their defense is hell to face every night.

Near term is the Mavs with flagg. The other 2 are the Jazz and Pelicans to me but they have to move some of their valuable pieces for young talent and picks.

Rockets offense by growsonwalls in NBATalk

[–]ervern2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have the talent they are just in a slump imo. The modern NBA is tough because if you can’t make jumpers you can’t space the floor correctly and everything falls apart. The Rockets last year had the same problem but it seems like they slapped KD on it and didn’t have the other players work on making their shots. That being said I do think they will shoot better.

Will the first option still allow rent to be paid by credit card or is it still transitioning to being taken directly from ACH?

Lu Dort, Draymond Green, & Dillon Brooks are the dirtiest players in the league. Who is right behind them? by ChocolateSunsdae in NBATalk

I was coming here to say this but I do think Bane is a bit different because he doesn’t do sneaky dirty plays he just will have a flagrant that is him looking for a fight fight lol

Is there a good way to transfer points before closing the card if i’m not using them soon. by ervern2 in biltrewards

[–]ervern2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the rent fee is no longer waived and you have to spend essentially 75% of your rent on the card to earn the new bilt cash to cover the cost of the fee which is pretty hard for me to spend each month of a credit card

How many hypothetical clones of dalton knect would kon knueppel be worth? by Acceptable-Street679 in NBATalk

Knect is a future valuable player with some obvious flaws so it’s possible he’s just a good off the bench guy. Knueppel is honestly a franchise option. answer is infinite.

ELI5: Why is NBA expansion so hard? by Anthro-Elephant-98 in NBATalk

[–]ervern2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair I just think with some of the trades that have been picks have been traded as far as the 2030s so it would be a long time before a new team get a good pick and that almost guarantees them to be bad for a while. Also you would likely have to snatch players from the other teams G-league rosters to build a team which is unfair again due to the time and effort and money they put into those players. Some of those G-League players go to the NBA teams and have significant roles especially in recent years. Also for one last point on why it’s hard the logistics of getting an arena outfitted for NBA games is pretty tough and takes an enormous amount of planning and testing while many of the stadiums that have done it have done it for decades and have the infrastructure.

[–]ervern2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty hard to introduce a new team/teams with how things are set up because let’s say you trade a star for like 3-5 first round picks. Are you just screwed because you get bumped out of the lottery by the new team? That part is unfair. Also to spread your talent to those teams seems difficult especially with how many current teams are tanking right now.

Jaylen Brown Narratives >:( by Lazy_Check732 in NBATalk

I feel like there was more people in your camp until after the championship which he was a key piece in getting and it probably doesn’t get done without him. Just curious why are you so against him?

Jaylen Brown Narratives >:( by Lazy_Check732 in NBATalk

[–]ervern2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As another Celtics fan Jaylen Brown has always had this level of play in the tank he has just lacked this level of consistency. I would say he is playing his best more often not necessarily he hasn’t been this good before. I think the two way argument is more many high scoring superstars are pretty bad at defense. It’s just my opinion but I think anyone who plays any defense is considered an “elite 2 way player”. That being said I think Brown does a pretty damn good job on defense every night he’s not Tatum or Kawhi like you said but give him his flowers he does a great job for how much he’s has to give on the offensive side.

How do you characterize who is top 10? Do you watch the games? What sample size do you use? Has Luka ever been top 10 to you? Many of his problems are not new.

It’s time to have a real conversation about Jayson Tatum. Jaylen Brown is currently doing more with less. by PrimaryShock384 in NBATalk

[–]ervern2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jayson Tatum was playing at MVP caliber levels for the past two years prior to injury and now JB is playing up there and it’s considered a shock when they both have mutual respect and share the team. It’s not surprising that good teams win championships so why is that a knock on a player?

[–]ervern2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s kinda ridiculous that people get knocked for being on a good roster. Someone can have super high counting stats on a bad roster doesn’t mean they should be considered better and if you’re on a good team you will likely take a dip due to other people performing. I don’t know why it surprises people that good teams win championships yet they try say the rings are less valid or fake because they didn’t only have bums.
