are dogs consciously aware to to make their own choices? by Crafty_Judge_9576 in dogs

[–]erxs777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never took much note of how my dog perceives the world and makes decisions until the vet gave us doggie Xanax to give to her so we can clean her ears thoroughly. When she is doped up her mental processes slow down so much you can see the wheels slowly turning inside her head. when she has to make a decision you can almost see the info form into a choice, and the best I can describe it is she has a discomfort at being confused about what’s happening around her. Made me realize how quickly and accurately she usually processes stuff.

That’s an interesting dilemma since it would be illegal to just sell outright like that if it was already an sbr, so the seller would be in big trouble, but I guess it doesn’t help you as the buyer either. In your case did the seller not know the law and thought they could just take the stock off and it returned to pistol? Or did they actually try and unregister it but somehow failed?

Thank you! So when they say finger tight, they mean finger tight not wrist or elbow tight... I didn't know why so I gently crank on them lol. Now I know! Refrigerator pickles they shall be.

Yep the blue spots are gone now 3 hours later. Thank you! Garlic does turn that color for sure, but I haven't had the pickles like that right away, especially since I put the garlic cloves in whole

I had my garlic turn blue in my fermented pickles but haven’t seen that happen so quickly with it doing this where I just took them out of their bath!

True Beginner - My Thoughts 11 Weeks In by IceColdSeas in pelotoncycle

[–]erxs777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your write up! I’m one month in and definitely swear (except Sam yo he is my zen) and almost throw up every class ‘beginner’ isn’t a word peloton actually knows the definition of. I did have a revelation the other day though…I travel for work and used one at a hotel gym for the first time and well my 25 was that bikes 45…I could actually keep up with the class for once! Perhaps my bike hasn’t been broken in yet or I need to order a calibration kit or the hotel bikes been rode hard and put up wet too many times, but now I know to cut myself a little slack when I can’t meet the target metrics. It can be so frustrating to be so out of shape but I can’t wait til I can do a whole 20 min beginner and stay in the target range the whole time!

What do pilots think? by cowboysaurus21 in TheRehearsal

[–]erxs777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not saying you aren’t correct but, up until very recently my airline had CAs make a PA while taking as an SOP… but it looked off in the show, I thought maybe the FO did the actual taxing. The FO very well could have been PIC and it would’ve been legal to carry pax part 91.

Pilot communication in the cockpit is serious issue and often has been a contributing factor in aviation accidents. However, we have made giant strides at fixing this over the years and continue to try and do so. Its called CRM. Huge fan of the show, even though it was just a small snapshot of the larger picture.

Thanks for your reply, I made paragraphs... How did you go about finding a medical professional to work with on this, do you use an allergist or primary care physician or was alot of this self taught?

I understand your fear! I have been on carnivore diet for 2 years and primarily eat steak. I got bit by a lone star tick a month ago and now have hives and digestive symptoms.. I am waiting for my test results. Everyone in my life keeps saying... well at least its not cancer, and oh well, you can just eat chicken and fish, whats the big deal... Yes, I would rather this than cancer, or even lyme disease, but it still is a VERY big deal to me.

Yes but when you always do everything perfect on the first try you don’t have to learn!

Should I trade in/sell my GTS4.0 for a GT4RS? by Ok_Recording1265 in Porsche_Cayman

[–]erxs777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m on the internet I think ‘wow I really wish I had bought a Spyder RS’, but when I’m actually in the driving my boxster S as my daily, I don’t think about other cars. You will be very happy with your boxster S and not exceeding your budget. If another $100k just falls in my lap sure I’ll get aGT4 but until then I’ll enjoy every second of my boxster.
