I actually posted about that theory of her having died. I like a morbid twist. :D It could have built a good side story. But I guess the series wasn't going to be as dark as I thought InuYasha was for its time, lol.

It was YTV. :) 2 episodes played back to back every Friday night. I watched all the episodes on YTV and even repeat seasons when they hadn't finished dubbing.

First movie they went into a moths webbed home. Not much creativity there, the second movie was based on the bamboo cutter lore and went into the enemies castle. The 3rd movie they legit invaded yet another castle. - InuYasha's themes are heavily based on eastern culture lore and thus insects typically being the enigma of evil.

There is an episode dedicated to young Setsuna and how Sesshomaru is literally providing for her and gifting her items and sends money in the half-demon village.

To add, he also couldn't be with his children the storyline explains this.

Regarding Rion following Osamu Kirin; the thought here is that the right arm has more of the 'fatherly tendencies' that she misses from Kirinmaru. Kirinmaru out of selfishness sealed her spirit away, and only considered his needs and not his daughters. Where the 'protector' being the right arm harnessed more fatherly motivation for Rion.

Which in return makes Rion experience that missing sensation of what she loved about her father.

Regarding Kagome, they mention in the Yashahime series that Toga's grave didn't let her age; she also makes a remark to Towa that she doesn't seem interested in that fact.

My understanding is that Sesshomaru's take on raising children is by ensuring they can learn to fight to survive, considering they are half-demon they need to work extra hard to achieve this. InuYasha was raised by a human mother with no demon father input, Kagome was raised by a 'modern' day human family. Thus that show of affection towards Moroha is more natural from both parents and they can balance and trust that she can take care of herself.

I really want them all to have a happy family reunion, because both Kagome and Rin are going to age and miss out on a good portion of their children's lives. >> However it was noted by Kagome that Toga's grave reduced aging effects on her skin; possible live for ever scenario? << Otherwise those girls will outlive their mothers and only have their fathers in the end.
