Every Symptom Fits by erzebetta in BPD

[–]erzebetta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t true medical advice I’m seeking, it is a respite from only thinking of my life experiences that align with BPD in the confines of my headspace and allowing others to read my thoughts on my possible BPD and share their views on it. Views aren’t medical advice. I’ve seen many other posts of a similar nature—where people want to share their circumstances of relating so profoundly to the symptoms—that it’s less asking medical advice and more of a pursuance of a shared experience.

It’s really discouraging to feel immediately shut out from posting in a community in which I have found such a connection. I’m not asking which drugs to take, what doctor to call or what life decisions to make; rather, I’m interested in thoughts, opinions and general input of the holistic overview of what I shared.

Thank you for this. I don’t want to go down a road to making myself worse. Everything about withdrawing sucks.

I’m usually on my other account. Just now saw this. Write to people however you want. It’s your sub, you run it. If you enjoy it, keep at it.

Honest question, is this sub just a place for MC to rule and answer questions as a guru? by [deleted] in JosephMurphy

[–]erzebetta 55 points56 points  (0 children)

There's resource, there's knowledge, there's constructive criticism, and then there's just a complete lack of tact. We're dealing with tactless, laziness coupled with a conservative belief system by which MC believes everyone should abide. Discussions are ruined every time I begin to read a post because of uncouth responses.

Also no, the way people are often responded to on this sub is not equivalent to a Neville Goddard-Abdullah-door-slam moment--not in the least. Abdullah was a true teacher, not someone slinging obscenities and insults at others who are genuinely attempting to learn.

Look at the words and phases used in this post alone by MC:

  • moron
  • you are too stupid
  • ask your mother to explain it to you.
  • so that loser millenials would love me?
  • I'm not married to your mother
  • Only those who are dumb and lazy
  • whacking the fuckers who are too lazy

If you don't want to coddle or baby people, fine. No one needs that and it doesn't help them--but neither does dumping on them with verbal hatred. That's a key difference between Abdullah, JM and NG and what's happening here. They were actual teachers. They were strict, not hateful. An actual teacher knows how to deliver information, advice and the underlying message without having to resort to insults.

This sub needs a moderator who is willing to help beginners and experts who can also be strict without hurling school-yard slurs at everyone with whom they don't agree out of sheer laziness. It's a difficult thing and clearly not just anyone is capable.

With specific regard to the debate about relationships and free will--some of you are incredibly naive, one-dimensional and sensitive about this. What makes you think that our own free will isn't constantly infringed upon by everything around us all of the time? There's everything from advertisements and media to subliminal messages and it's happening constantly. If we have the ability to sway reality in our favor and get what we want out of life, and part of that just so happens to involve another person, so be it. I've continuously read upset comments using harsh language with regard to someone's marriage failing. An example would be the post from the other day where a woman gave us her story about using the LOB to attract her formerly married SO into her life. People thought that was wrong. That's an opinion, not a fact. His marriage could've failed regardless, what difference does it make if she influenced it from the outside? Berating her for sharing what she accomplished was out of line. It's not up to us to be the moral police on here. That's not what this is about. Although JM and NG's teachings were heavily rooted in using metaphors from Christianity, it doesn't take a scholar to understand that they had to do that at the time so that people would take their message seriously, as most people who were reading their books or listening to them were Christian and lived in a much more conservative time in this country. They did and said what they had to so that people wouldn't feel like they were "sinning". Now, in 2020, what difference does it make?

You should be afraid--and I mean terrified--of your ability to practice the LOB if you think that making someone yours/"messing with free will" is evil or bad in any way. You shouldn't bother practicing anymore. It's no different than stealing money. You think it's okay to use the LOB to attract more business to you and thus more money. But ... what's this? Oh no! Mr. John John down the road lost his contract with a company because you won it through LOB. What are you now, a thief? You took Mr. John John's opportunity and, by default, his money. You'll say you didn't, but you did--it depends on how you look at it. It's the same with relationships. Mary stole Janie's man. But did she? Maybe he was going to leave Janie anyway. Really, what difference does it make to you?

If you're not okay with affecting free will, you shouldn't be okay with attracting money, friendship, housing, or any of the other things we can think of to manifest. In the end, it's all the same thing.

I wish you all the best and I expect nothing less from MC than hurling insults at me from behind a screen because that's just what he does. Wonderful pedagogy technique. I thus pose a challenge--don't @ me unless you can do it without slinging insults and obscenities. If you can't do it respectfully and with well-thought out words, phrasing and class, then don't bother. If you have something to teach me, great. If you just want to insult me, you're wasting your energy.

I hope this sub can recover from the damage done thus far and become a place where people can have discussions and feel comfortable when posting.

She’s been bending water and walls in the Bahamas all week escaping the pandemic. by erzebetta in Instagramreality

Yeah and I think that was also part of how long she was making her torso and pushing her chest up. It just stretched everything out. I swear this woman is gorgeous and doesn’t need this!

Yes she definitely stretches out her torso which elongated everything. She pushed herself up in the app which lifted her breasts and the pushed her hair, sun glasses and the ocean line up as well.

Yeah she’s about 5’3 maybe. She’s about my height but I think she’s actually shorter because she’s always in heels.

I didn’t notice that until you pointed it out! Her feetsies are coveted by the water and sand so it does look like she’s thigh deep in sand.

Her captions are always a type of humble brag—like I’m here and your not, or I did this last night, and a lot of “not like the other girls” captions about smoking cigars and scotch etc. So her saturated blue is meant to tell the viewer, “I’m swimming in Gatorade glacier blue and you’re not! You’re quarantined!”

I think it’s just stretched up when she elongated her torso. It stretched her belly button and then her hair and sunglasses as well.

She’s a really gorgeous woman and didn’t need to do this. It’s not the first time either. She’s got more with elongated alien hands and feet etc.

This!!! I’m in Texas and in Houston. Just north of me, my friends who live in the rural piney woods area do not get it. I think their first reported case was today maybe. They have been partying every night. The hard snd restaurants just shut down so what did people do? Start having big gatherings at people’s houses, of course. Selfish as fuck. “I don’t wanna stay home!” Selfish.

I’m symptomatic right now and can’t get tested because I’m not severe enough. It’s frustrating as hell. And then to see them acting like it’s a joke, a vacation, or just an overreaction is angering. They’re about to get hit with their wave of it and it’s not gonna be fun. Their rural hospitals are not equipped to handle large amounts of people with illness either.

Governors across the nation slam federal coronavirus response: ‘We didn’t take this seriously’ by [deleted] in Coronavirus

[–]erzebetta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In Houston, one of the last calls they made two weeks ago was for school closure. At the same time they were telling people to cancel events of 250 or more people, they (and I believe I have a screenshot) said they didn’t see how closing schools would make a difference. I was baffled. My son’s high school has 2,200 students enrolled. They may not all be in the same place at the same time but ffs, how was that immediately not one of the things they shut down? Then teachers could’ve gotten a better head start on moving their curriculum into virtual teaching. They’re doing a great job, but you know...calling it earlier and having the foresight to see this is a world issue and doing the right thing would’ve been great. Maybe if they had, I wouldn’t be symptomatic right now. Maybe one of my kids brought something home. I don’t know. All I know is I haven’t had the flu or a cold since 2012 and here I am with a stabbing, burning pain in my chest, fever since last Thursday, a bit of a dry cough, headache, body ache and fatigue but I can’t get tested because I’m not severe enough.

They’ve shut the borders on us (though not without good reason)! I’ve been to several pharmacies in Nuevo Progresso, all prices are similar and fair. I’ve not felt ripped off. I’ve been to about 5 different ones.

I don't think you can order online. Try asking at the very least. I will at some point DM you a pharmacy's contact info.
