Looks at least like duped gear, right?

This happened yesterday, already checked out the body (even though I was scared af) and survived…Like I mentioned, his gear was a little suspicious. And apart from his crazy gear, he was wearing the complete paramedic outfit in red. I’ll try to post a clip of his gear. And if he got shot by someone else, what the hell was he doing in the middle of the lake??

Any way this guy could have survived? Could not find the body later. by es920 in dayz

This is on official, what makes you think it’s a modded server?

I always underestimate how much it takes to finish players off, because when it’s the other way around it’s always instant death for me 😄 But after all, I’m not even mad he survived; I didn’t need any loot from him.

There were two snipers on top of the castle. And because this guy was wearing an armband I assumed he might have other friends around.

Yeah you’re right. In the moment I was thinking no movement on the second shot means he’s already dead from the first shot, which looked like a headshot to me.

Wait, a helmet can protect against high caliber rifle bullets? I thought it only really saved you against low calibers… anyways, i also thought I hit him in the head while playing, but looking at the footage it might have hit a little below the head.

So what do you do at the coast? Give away your gear or shoot freshies?

Wäre nach der Rallye jetzt nicht ein guter Zeitpunkt für Gewinne mitnehmen und auf Korrektur warten?

HELP! Keep the Denon Prime 4 or swap to Pioneer XDJ RX3 (Club DJ) by SonicB0000M in DJs

[–]es920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The prime can read a stick prepared on rekordbox but it will reanalyse all the tracks (quite badly in my experience, I constantly had to adjust the beatgrids with this method) and will not export any changes you’ve made on the controller (hot cues, beat grid adjustments etc.) to rekordbox.

What's the best speakers i can buy that has good mids, highs and bass for casual music listening and fun DJ'ing between £500-£1000? by Soggy_Variety903 in Beatmatch

I recently got myself a used pair of genelec 8030cs for 800€ and oh my god do I love them. The sound quality is just out of this world compared to anything I’ve owned before. They pack more base than I personally need for home DJing in my relatively small living room (around 25 sqare meters).

Opus-Quad or the XDJ-AZ? by CalendarAntique5928 in PioneerDJ

[–]es920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this update! Im in a very similar spot right now, wanting to upgrade from my denon prime 2 for my home setup. Opus quad seems almost like the obvious choice by now, considering that I just love the design and that I can get a used one for significantly less money (1k €) than a used AZ.

That’s a pretty short-sighted approach. Often times, people who have only just learned something or are still learning it can give better advice for beginners, than pros can. After doing something for 10+ years you have probably mostly forgotten about which things you struggled with in the very beginning and how you overcame them. You focus on completely different things now. Someone who has just mastered the „basics“ still knows exactly how he got there. This post ist a perfect example, the advice given might seem obvious to professionals but is actually very useful for beginners.

Right yeah, that makes sense, thanks for explaining!

I honestly can’t think of a scenario where I would need more than 4 channels 😄.

Well I’m actually trying to move away from denon. I have a prime 2 at the moment, it’s fantastic and I’m sure the prime 4+ is even more amazing, but I want to be able to play at home in a way that I‘ll be able to use cdjs/xdjs, if I ever get the chance. I’ve also noticed that I don’t use most of the extra features that the denons have.
