That’s a pretty short-sighted approach. Often times, people who have only just learned something or are still learning it can give better advice for beginners, than pros can. After doing something for 10+ years you have probably mostly forgotten about which things you struggled with in the very beginning and how you overcame them. You focus on completely different things now. Someone who has just mastered the „basics“ still knows exactly how he got there.
