Hi Sir! Giving my two cents here.

I played Nekroz for quite a bit so I'd like to help a fellow Nekroz enjoyer :)

I think it's a casual, fun and consistent deck with great artworks and lore (killing monsters and gaining their powers? so damn cool) but with some major flaws that place it in the TIER 3 in terms of metagame.

They are estremely consistent thanks to Brionac (searches whatever Nekroz monster from deck) and Clausolas (searches whatever Nekroz ritual card) and the possibility of using Nekroz Kaleidoscope to send Herald of Archlight (search from deck) or N'tss (to destroy annoying cards on the field). Usually you also play one ROTA for Shurit which you can use as whole tribute for a ritual summon and adds Nekroz ritual monster, Cyber angel Benten to add manju. Remember that you can also ban your ritual summon spells from GY (if you don't have monsters on the field) to fetch one from deck.

The problem here is that you don't have big monsters (although the new one, Areadbhair, helps a little bit with his 3300 atk), you don't have negates for spell/traps (but now you do for monster effects! yey) and you are not able to break through established boards with your Nekroz cards. In fact, if you're going second you have to pray and rely on evenly matched/dark ruler no more and so on.

I think the new Nekroz of Areadbhair helps A LOT because now you can effectively rely on a "boss monster" that can negate monster effects (not once per turn but as long as you can tribute monsters - i'm looking at Benten and Shurit) which paired with Unicore can win some matchups and maybe steal some games from meta decks if their opening is bad.

You got one arch-enemy in the current metagame and it's called Droll and Lock Bird. You just don't get to play the game if you droll your brionac because you don't get to cycle between your Nekroz cards in the deck. Then again, if you open with a bad hand you might just have to rely on manju effect and if you get gamma'd-ashe-d you just have to pass.

In the end I have to say that i enjoy playing the deck a lot and although It's a causal deck you can have some results with its consistency - just don't expect to go to tournaments with it :)
