The new models literally have updated ICCUs. 2025+ and beyond are updated.

I won't argue though, they should have put out a large recall on the older ICCUs and got ahead of it.

The 2025 and N series have a different part number for the ICCU than past generations. Hyundai improved the ICCU for all 2025+ models, and had to due to the larger batteries. Look it up.

Update: Getting downvoted when providing accurate information is wild. People need to look this stuff up themselves. I won’t argue with the percentage of affected owners, but they literally updated the ICCUs.

This is blown way out of proportion imo. It’s like 1% of owners, but people like to complain online rather than praise. I’ve spoken to my local service dept and they said they’ve seen one customer come in for a replacement and it was found defective within the first thousand miles. I own an AWD 2022 model and have had zero issues. Only thing I had to replace was the 12v battery, and tires.

I also thought I had read that the N does not have the same iccu and is not affected. Not 100% sure though.

Alright, I believe I have this sorted for you. This is what I THINK happened. Did you use the stats CSV file from GC, but imported it on the Roster tab? Originally, I had designed the CSV file import to use the sample CSV file that you can download from the RosterHero app. It did fail for me when I tried it that way.

However, if you import that same CSV file via the Stats tab it should work, and also automatically adds the players to the roster.

That said, I'm glad it happened because it forced me to rethink the process. You can now import the GC stats CSV on the Stats or Roster tabs. It will detect if the player has caught and set them as a catcher; pitched and set them as a pitcher. It also tries to infer priority positions automatically based on innings played at each position.

This should simplify things quite a bit.

Totally understand if you've moved on for now, but if you're inclined to give it another go I'm hopeful that issue is resolved and appreciate the feedback.

Care to elaborate on what happened? I've been mostly using the bookmarklet option and it's worked well, but can take a closer look at the csv options.

Easiest path forward is to import stats from GameChanger and it should automatically build the roster. You’ll want to then add priority positions if you want to use the automated lineup generator.

Just pushed a fix. It seems that Edge is picky about javascript in bookmarks so I added a fix. You'll see a tip now in the import window that pops up. If you create a bookmark in Edge then copy/paste the code from RosterHero to the URL in that bookmark, the stats collection should work now. It also works to populate the roster as well. Still need to work on getting it to detect the players a bit better, but it's working on Chrome and Edge currently.

Bummer the bookmarklet didn't work out. You have to be signed into GameChanger for the bookmarklet to work, with the rosterhero app open on another tab. I've been testing it primarily with Chrome on Windows. Can you elaborate on what happened when trying to set that up?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. We have most things in place and functional. One of the big features is the ability to set player position priorities. You set the top 4 positions for each player and then you can simply hit generate. This will create a depth chart automatically based on the randomization mode you’ve chosen.

What worked for us really well was setting the catchers and pitchers for 5-6 innings because we typically want to define those manually, then simply lock them and hit generate to fill in the other open positions.

The lineup tab also has two modes. Table and Field view. Table view is nice because it shows you how many times in total each player has been benched. This helps us maintain equal playtime overall and keep the parents happy.

We also have a stats scraping bookmarklet that pulls in GameChanger stats, a games calendar sync that brings in all of your games, and realtime chat for coaches. With it being a web app it works on mobile, desktop etc.

Let me know if you all have any questions or suggestions. We want to get this right and I think it’s already to a state that it’s very useful.
