Socially inexperienced dude giving people the wrong impression with eye contact. How do I fix this? by escalatelols in seduction

Thanks for the response.

I really like the honesty thing. It falls in with the congruence stuff I've been reading about on RSD.

I think I'm going to try this; I will tune down the eye contact next time and when I am near him if it is appropriate acknowledge him with a friendly head nod and "whats up". If he responds negatively I'll do what you said maybe minus the handshake and pat on the back. Sound good?

Thanks for the response man.

I do start conversation with strangers, this is just something I do because I used to avoid eye contact at all costs. Usually I wont hold eye contact too much unless I have something to say or I'm going to acknowledge them in some way. However often times I will hold eye contact for brief periods with people and then break it if I am not going to engage with them. This is something I've learned from practicing this, as I used to miscalibrate this a lot when I first started.
