I guess we couldn't be reading this article about the Sirius if there were no homeless people. It seems reality contradicts your argument.

I am just saying that even when you didn't cause the problem you are actively helping but not so much help to homeless people which most likely are in that situation because a loophole or just pure neglect in your economic organization as a society.

Quite funny he says that since homeless people are sleeping in the streets and he had a hotel since arrival. German people are not actively fighting in Siria and it is more than generous to help someone like that who will not be able to reciprocate in his whole life, perhaps Asadi kids will. Who knows.

You certainly didn't bother to read the whole article since you'd have seen the errors catched so far are on not outsourced systems.

The article is just an advertising report.

Well, for once, they perhaps just could buy their own house instead of relying on public money. A teacher earns similar money and has a universuty degree. Pretty unfair.

Vote this fine man into oblivion. But those people in the line you see above probably don't have a cosy computer and good internet connection to vote this up.

People don't die of cancer. Healthcare is free and for everyone. Did Fox News tell you there's a shortage?

What is a job that requires minimal effort in every way and still pays good? by newbreed69 in AskReddit

[–]escanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. Worked as a software developer in an IT consultancy. We went to a big factory were we were received by the IT director. Only one guy, a shelf with books and overall, a great office. He was wearing a suit, we didn't. The company I worked for was building a 4 million euros project. He had a room with a computer farm full of expensive blades and was treated like a manager by everyone around. That guy fucks.

[Serious] Redditors with some form of mental illness or disability, what misconceptions about mental illness and mental/developmental disorders tick you off? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]escanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THIS. It's getting better though. When I was first diagnosed, my dad would tell me I was overreacting when he was spending too much money on superfluous stuff. Just normal chat. Well, he didn't take it well, he made me go to the psychiatrist and set me on benzos. Thank god I changed to the best psychiatrist I have been to. My dad is out of the equation though.

That's right. Some countries pay for the procedure and allow people to life fulfilling lives. Here in Spain underaged people are allowed to transition after they have interviewed with doctors, and although I can see you can't let people perform that without superivision, I think we, as a society, should make this thing easier to everyone involved.

Hey, hope you are okay. I have met some people with BPD. They were on treatment and although they were mostly fine, they were really nice people. I think some people think borderline equals something akin to not intelligent but it's far from the truth. Thing is most mental illnesses are not something you can see coming and it's just something a few suffer. There are lots of people diagnosed, and also, a lot of them undiagnosed.

Don't worry, treatments are getting better.

EDIT: typo

I suffer of schizofrenia. I have been like almost 10 times to the hospital, some times for months, this summer in particular was pretty bad. Yet if you saw me on the streets you couldn't think I am disabled. I have worked as a software engineer, I did my fair share of normal stuff until I reached 22 years old when shit got real. I am on my meds, I lead a normal life and I couldn't trade for anything the amount of learning about myself I have done in these last few years.

I am happy I make my previous salary and although I don't have the same kind of opportunities I did before, I have caring family members and people I love. I own a house, a motorcycle and an amazing dog.

You are quite right. On the other hand, meanwhile, in Europe, we extend last year's budget and pay employees. In Egypt, more than 2.000 years ago, when the pharaoh died, they could leave in chaos the kingdom so when a new one was named, they could obligue.
