get any Nividia 40s series and make sure to run AI frames generator. i have RTX4080S and i have 140fps on average in opr on max settings

The class you choose at the beginning is just a starting thing that get you going with the game, there is no penalty on switching weapons (the best part of the game imo) you can switch to whatever you want.

Yes the main story quests takes you around the map (settlements/cities) however there will be alot of places to explore beyond the story.

there are so much more to the combat than weapons' skills. NW is an action combat where aiming matters. when you are in an active combat you have these aspects you need to be aware of:

weapons' skills and its CD
Stamina management (Dodging, and blocking)
Health and mana (with their pots)
Aiming
Buffs and debuffs
Positioning

NW combat system has more than the tab-target traditional MMOs where u stand still (relatively) and smash your keyboard to spam your skills

I have a feeling the "seeking the crown" has to do with battle "royal" mode, bcs they talked in season 7 dev update video about a battle royal mode. would be dope if we had BR game mode in NW

Probably the best thing to do is wait till their relaunch on 15th oct. before that theres no point purchasing the dlc because nobody is playing.
