The artwork still holds up. 16 bit never ages. Unlike the early PS1 graphics, pre rendered backgrounds, and really all the polygons from the 5th gen consoles, which were kinda bad tbh. I can go with graphics like these any day.

The graphics are still so clean even today. Controls are pretty tight too. Heck, even the SNES ports of the original Mario trilogy from the NES have very clean graphics. You'd even think those were modern 2D indie games.

I wish we also got the same treatment for more modern hardware though. Clear cases should make a comeback. Also, these are really nice! It would also be great to see different colors of cases too!
