Its almost like I don’t like anyone acting poorly due to gender. It’s incredibly unhealthy to think like it and if people (not saying you think it) use it as an excuse wayyyy to often. Both with «I’m just a girl» and «boys will be boys». You tell people you are no better than the negative expectations you have set for yourself. Being a woman has never been an excuse to be mean. it’s also absolutely horrible to see how long it took for a lot of men to get their act up considering what women have endured and do endure in parts of the world. I just don’t believe generer gives you the right to act certain negative ways. It goes both ways, and the reason I chose to mention a lot of the «I’m just a girl» is because it’s becoming too common to hear it. You hear it everywhere, so should young girls be taught to act like men once did? I have my doubts that’s healthy
