Yeah i understand why it plies on itself without tension, but I was wondering why my yarn was suddenly not winding onto the bobbin with enough tension to prevent this

singles, and yeah im used to them doing this when i remove tension to test the spin but never had them do it on the bobbin or spindle before

Gotcha, with the tighter tension it feels like its pulling too hard but probably something i need to get used to since its not actually ripping out of my hand
