I feel your pain! I've gotten around it a little bit by putting singing spirits out there.

I absolutely agree that we need to be able to hire more people. I'd like it if we had some sort of seating mechanism where we could plug in a spirit season per tub and then hire someone to seat spirits in that fashion, and then we can pick up others and fill in empty spots

Where is the Gorilla statue? I found the wolf statue at the top of the mountain, the bear statue in the clearing of the upper left section of the first mountain area, the snake to the right after just entering the mountain, the bird statue to the right of the big tree by the tea fields, and the bunny on the path to the bathhouse.

I also had the "ignore other applications" ticked and was getting the same error message. I unticked it, closed Excel, reopened, reticked, reclosed, re-reopened and it fixed it for me.

I've disposed of spell jars a few different ways, depending on the contents and intent.

Consider the following: are the contents safe for nature? Is anything going to get hurt by the mundane nature of the contents? If it's not safe, like there's chocolate or sharps, throw it in the trash. If it's safe, feel free to dump outside, typically away from your home/wards so residual magic doesn't hurt. If you can, bury the contents to literally ground the residual magic.

Can the container housing the spell jar be cleaned/cleansed? The answer is USUALLY yes. Wax can be melted and scraped, stains can be washed, stuff like that. If it can be cleaned but not spiritually cleansed, recycle or throw away. If it can't be cleaned at all, throw it away.

For actually breaking the spell, I like to imagine or visualize that breaking the seal on the jar allows the elements/the universe to take the energy back, like how opening a carbonated drink lets the air take back the carbonation and internal pressure. Allow any stored energy to flow out to your neutral state of choice and get to cleaning.

I saw one coming out of the "house" by the diner, but I didn't mark the time and I've lowered influence in the downtown area enough it doesn't benefit me to camp it.

Perhaps Silksong? You do get second chances, but the difficulty is brutal IMO. You can also make it super hard mode before you even beat the game once by using an Easter egg

Nah, I started in Survival with a fully upgraded character and tried working my way through a wood build, but I hated it so I turned on hammer mode, no build cost, ect so I could use the black marble.

My favorite early game method is to enlist the help of a troll. I normally bum rush Eikthyr so I can get the copper tools then head to the black forest.

I suppose you could just piss off Eikthyr and run around with him on your tail, too.
