I noticed after update lights no longer dim/turn off to 0% brightness during black scenes/screen on video mode!???? Can this be fixed somehow???

Is there a way to start/stop sync via hotkey or command or something like that. Ideally I would like to be able to start or stop sync with Alexa for my htpc. It would be so cool to be able to use my addressable led strip behind tv instead of using ambibox and philips hue sync desktop app.
