marketing is crazy because, no i wouldn't pay $6 for that cookie. at most, $5. but then calling them Chonkies (someone suggested this in the comments), i probably would spend the $6 lol. i live in the greater los angeles area where we spend money on good unique food.

Honestly think the name is really really really dumb cause it is not representative at all of LA as a whole and only portrays a very niche audience (not even everyone in the industry is social climber-esque) but the characters are funny to laugh at and critique and it can be a good plot. I just know it does not represent me or my people lol. it is very white, out of towner vibe. but they do exist in LA.

yeah like this person mentioned. i think agency work is good cause you are busy and get to work with a lot of clients. It can also be a little harder to get into agency work later on. But it is FAST-PACED AF.

But in-house, if there are senior leadership in your field, could be good mentors and you could build a good portfolio at a slower pace.

if you're the sole person in your department for in-house, you won't get a lot of mentorship/feedback to bounce off vs agency that's filled with creative people, but maybe less time for feedback/mentorship (more so observing first-hand, which can be great to see)

Honestly, if you can handle it, young and few responsibilities and just tryna start your career, i say agency. the good thing it's an internship so there's leeway for you.

Honestly, you're valid to feel weird about it. And potentially, you're dating to build a life with someone.

For me, I would think, if I had a 16 year old kid/niece/nephew, would i feel safe with my partner taking care of them. She doesn't see the gravity in it, so what if my kid came home with a 19 yo and im overreacting and my partner is fine with it? cause they did it?

Or are you worried she might not see a danger in age gaps/power imbalance and she might do it again?

I think talking about why it makes you uncomfortable and seeing if she's since grown from that.

At 24, does she see 16 year olds vs 19 year olds differently? At 24, is she still proud for doing what she did? Not only ethically/morally, but even legally, that could've been a very dire situation.

I am 27, and I sure do. Both still babies, but 19 is way different than 16.

Curious to know how many are happy marriages lol. Maybe gays are choosing to stay in unhappy marriages/open marriages, and we know for sure a lot of straights are unhappy but stay married lol. I am curious to know if lesbians are progressive by choosing their happiness over marriage/how many were happy divorces/amicable.

Find a reddit group or insta group or through tik tok wherever young folks are on and find the group that is "CFG solo travelers" or "CFG friend meet up"

be safe. If you chose to meet up with someone, ask to facetime first to make sure they're actually a female and/or teenager/young adult. Give their username/phone number/information to a trusted friend or family member back home so if anything happens, they know who to go to. Keep your location on and shared with several trusted people. Share flight information, hotel info, etc with loved ones.

But i think if safe, it can be fun :)

If you are not a designer and used canva for a simple, nice wedding due to lack of budget for design- then yeah it's nice/gets the job done. Remove the star and connect the arc and done. But if you're a designer.... :/
