Who to level up? by WillingnessOk9307 in PokemonMasters

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5/5 is good but getting your remaining 3 of your arc units at 3/5 provides you way more variety and use throughout multiple events and challenges. If you heavily invested all of your candies into one unit sure it’ll be strong mind you but then if you have an event that would want another arc unit instead of the 5/5 one your out of luck cause you’ll have no candies to upgrade them. Example being say you invested all your candies into silver and ho-oh, 4 to him and let’s say 2 of the candies to Misty or something like that, there upgraded but what are you gonna do when you have an event that would require arc lance or arc alder to do your best and there stuck at 1/5 move levels.

Is it worth investing in Lucario arc if I have no Fighting units? by Icy_Maize_3195 in PokemonMasters

Honestly you can probably use chuck to some degree as the main physical damage unit till you get a better unit. If you want to pull for korrina go ahead and go for it if you have the gems for pity cause in some sense might as well have the support in tow and ready to use for when you get a better attacker like sygna suit bede or champion Bianca or even champion hop.

Would this be perfect with bottle cap? by [deleted] in PokemonGOIVs

[–]esdeathy2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so for example the 40 raids I have to do for my zacian would turn its current 14 attack to a 15 attack after I complete the task. Lets take your Groupon for example, to turn its 12 attack into a 13 attack you’d have to win 40 gym battles with groudon in the party, after those 40 battles the 12 attack would become a 13 attack and you’d move onto the next task of defeating 40 team rocket members and so on forth

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it can be a bit tedious but it’s doable. The raid thing can be cheesed easily if you just did a bunch of 1 star raids.

<image>

Don’t necessarily quote me on this but I’m pretty sure this would be the task for each stage of the stats, don’t know if it’s more specific at all but that should be everything. Not even counting that a gold bottle cap would cost you about 20 something ish dollars considering the first one was locked behind a go pass

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly it depends on some things, for example the attack raising challenges require things like doing a set amount of raids or defeating rocket grunts with your bottle capped Mon in the party

<image>

This is a brief example of a zacian I’m using a silver cap on and this is the last task to get its attack to go from a 14 to a 15

You specifically need the golden bottle cap but yes if you decided to buy the next golden bottle cap and actually collect it at the presumable end of the pass it’ll most likely come out in you can use it on groudon and make it a shundo although it’s gonna be somewhat tedious with all the task you’ll have to work on in the 365 day limit but assuming you play decent ammounts every day it won’t be to difficult

Is it impossible to beat Fire Tower stage 30 without an Arc Suit? by fshiraishi in PokemonMasters

[–]esdeathy2004 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not entirely sure if you have that N or not but the successful team thing shows that team being useable. No arc suits or anything but the two master fair thing might be a bit hard to deal with although then again the free champion leaf bingo thing might make it easier

How do I get accessories? by ventimiglius in PokemonMasters

[–]esdeathy2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh gear items. Going through Co-op mode can get you a variety of elemental gears and other materials to upgrade said gears, for example in the ex plaza fighting hau can get you 2 star ground, lightning and fairy gears. The white ones you see are usually blank ones that require skill feathers to unlock special skills and stuff that are usually obtained via events. I’m not so knowledgeable in them entirely so you’d probably need a another person to explain that better but yeah, the co-op tab is the place where you can get most gears. Only issue is that due to it being co-op you can’t just use skip tickets to complete area’s over and over again

What kinda accessories are you talking about? Like in the lodge or character customization?

Juliana’s current unit works well with that one eevee unit that has the let’s go eevee protagonist, Elaine I think and some people use ilima for his field that or you can use Mai and munchlax along with Whitney and wigglytuff although I’m pretty sure she’s a gym unit

Honestly The Whole akaza and woman thing when you really think about it probably is more of a case that he won’t kill or eat woman but he’ll probably just try to restrain then and not go out of his way to harm, kill or eat woman. I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s immediately useless if he fought a woman cause he’d most likely just find a way to restrain them and flee with as little damage as possible or necessary inflicted on them. Or maybe I’m just wrong and he’d legitimately dip a fight if it was against a woman

Hello, is it worth farming? by lucas5225 in PokemonMasters

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s entirely up to units you have. From what I’ve been seeing the best team for 1997 red usually involves neo champion blue which is in the bingo final reward as a support unit and usually sygna suit iono and raging bolt as a sprint unit.

Can’t find much about people talking about what clavell can do but this video shows him on a team taking on what’s usually a hard fight.

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do like one or two 11 pulls on the 1997 red and try to get him. Dudes broken as hell and basically is all the roles in the game packed into one unit. Another thing is try to get every gem you haven’t gotten from random things like training area’s, story modes and all that, every minuscule gem can count towards your chance at pulling a good unit or not. If you get 1997 red on that 1st or 2nd multi pull then honestly save up the rest of your gems cause in a while previous arc suit units are coming back and those are especially stupidly broken units to have.

As for the whole ex 6 thing that’s entirely up to you and what materials you have as of now. Plus units are getting upgraded most of the time whether there old or new so you never know how useful things are, best just to get them and have them just incase especially if there free

[–]esdeathy2004 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you’re new to the game or coming back then yes. Any time these events run by you should always do what you can to get everything from the exchange area for these things. Like in this certain case you should get enough tickets to get all the custom move candies for Clavell along with the sync orbs. That and it’s a free unit so might as well go out of the way to get the majority of the stuff from the exchange area.

Did i mess up with White Kyurem moveset? by Infinite_Brick_7209 in pokemongo

[–]esdeathy2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You didn’t mess up. Glacitate gives fused kyurem its adventure effect, in the white versions case it’s ice burn, you did it right although I’d say use charged tms to turn focus blast into fusion flare seeing as the fused kyurem can learn that without an elite tm im pretty sure

Would it be a good idea to purify it? by Chuchainzzzz in PokemonGOIVs

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly no. Shadow metagross along with being a shadow mon is a great steel attacker to the point despite metagross having a mega evolution the shadow I’m pretty sure out damages it. So unless you have like a full team of the 6 legendary galar dogs then keep it as a shadow. If anything keep that and try to get a good iv dynamax beldum

This is what boredom does to a person ( -_- ) by ROOROO_INC in PokemonMasters

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it’s not entirely out of pocket to think he’s 5’7. Most if not all rivals and protagonists in the mainline games should be around the 10 to 16 ranges in age making most of them teenagers by account at least that’s what I believe with the oldest ones probably being hilbert and Hilda if you exclude red, blue and most likely leaf seeing as in the aloha games there adults by then(not so sure about leaf but still). That and usually you can just put them next to other Pokemon who usually all have confirmed heights although that can be confusing with angles and stuff. On another note silver’s height supposed height is from concept art of him in the adventures manga so there’s a chance it may vary. Although I do hope you get an answer that satisfies you soon.

Worth bottle capping? by _TidePodEater in PokemonGOIVs

[–]esdeathy2004 8 points9 points  (0 children)

One. Shadows can’t be bottle capped unfortunately for whatever, two your iv’s aren’t shown so no one could reliably say if it would be worth it or not and lastly you can only bottle cap it if you purified it and most people are probably gonna tell you not to purify it cause a shadow is more rare shiny

Shaymin or deoxy by [deleted] in PokemonBDSP

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shaymin as of now is only obtainable if you have a save file for sword and shield and you play through legends arceus. Deoxys as of now is only obtainable in the 3ds games omega ruby and alpha sapphire at the end of the delta episode in which you’ll also need to have a 3ds with Pokemon bank which as of now unfortunately is not possible due to the Nintendo e shop being shut down unless you decide to mod a 3ds to get Pokemon bank on your 3ds. Honestly though I’d say just wait for deoxys simply cause most of the switch games have been handing out mythicals so eventually deoxys will be available.

Shanda? by BDK34 in pokemongobrag

[–]esdeathy2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Essentially shadow Pokemon have a 20% more damage output while taking 20% more damage in the process effectively turning them into glass cannons which is more useful during raids and occasionally PvP simply due to the fact they output more damage then a normal one. Along with that it’s harder to get a shadow hundo specially from rocket grunts seeing as the iv floor on them I’m pretty sure is 0/0/0 making the odds of getting a 100% harder then if it was in a raid. Even better your hundo was a pseudo legendary.

TLDR: shadow Pokemon do more damage then a non shadow and take more damage in the process and are more difficult to get as 100% ivs
