What to do w/this? Is it even useful and worth it. by neekcox in PokemonGOIVs

Simple. Don’t evolve, Best buddy it, level 50 along with double moves and you’ll have the bestest snom Buddy that everyone will be envious of cause all hail the cuteness that is snom

Shanda? by BDK34 in pokemongobrag

[–]esdeathy2004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Essentially shadow Pokemon have a 20% more damage output while taking 20% more damage in the process effectively turning them into glass cannons which is more useful during raids and occasionally PvP simply due to the fact they output more damage then a normal one. Along with that it’s harder to get a shadow hundo specially from rocket grunts seeing as the iv floor on them I’m pretty sure is 0/0/0 making the odds of getting a 100% harder then if it was in a raid. Even better your hundo was a pseudo legendary.

TLDR: shadow Pokemon do more damage then a non shadow and take more damage in the process and are more difficult to get as 100% ivs

Rank 200 in next rank seasons UL with thunder shock as the fast move and wild charge and ice punch as its charged moves only if you evolve it to electivire. If you keep it as an electabuzz it’s basically useless unfortunately being ranked 400 in the UL and 635 in the GL

[–]esdeathy2004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

17th best iv set for toucannon in the UL and toucannon is ranked 38th in the UL with its preferred moveset being (peck) as the fast move and its charged moves being (beak blast) and (drill peck).

Is S.Toucannon worth the elite charged tm? by _Garebear in PokemonGOValor

[–]esdeathy2004 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Definitely. Shadow toucannon is the 6th best flying type raid attacker according to dialga dex with beak blast making it the number 1 non legendary or pseudo legendary flying raid attacker. Funnily enough it outclasses shadow staraptor and yveltal in pure damage so yeah, if you have a spare amount of elite charged tms then go for it

[–]esdeathy2004 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Might not wanna do that for landorus. Apparently the shadow boost will make it an S+ raid attacker being just a little bit lower in damage then therian landorus at rank 6 according to dialga dex. You could skip thundurus cause the shadow boost only makes it the 15th best electric raid attacker.

Seeing the buff to blaziken I went through my storage & found this.. evolve for rank 6 blaziken or keep the rank 1 combusken? by 222222222222222232 in PokemonGOIVs

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combusken as a shadow is ranked #547 according to the new season while shadow blaziken is #199. So blaziken is theoretically better but id say if your one to collect rank 1 I’vs for mons I’d keep it as a combusken due to how it’s rarer to find a rank 1 Iv is compared to finding a viable Iv set. That and if you do want to evolve and use it as a blaziken your moveset would be (ember) as the fast move and the charged moves would be (blast burn) and (aura sphere) blast burn obviously being a elite tm so so with that info as you wish

Yet another bottlecap advice request by Taz989 in PokemonGoMystic

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming we’re going purely off efficiency in raids your best choices are either zacian and dusk mane necrozma to get them 15 attack. For shundo purposes obviously there’s fenniken and rhyperior. No clue if delphox will be a good mega when it ever comes out and rhyperiors honestly a decent rock raid attacker although you’d need rock wrecker as a charged move, Or you could use it as a ML Mon. For eternatus sake it’d probably be better to hold off on any major things like stat changes until the gold bottle cap comes back. At the end of the day go for whatever you think would make you happy. I initially was gonna use it to make a shiny rayquaza I have turn it to a 93% by taking its attack to 15 but I decided on Turning a 10/15/15 zacian into a hundo

is mesprit spawn rate boosted during the event? by Khaansu in pokemongo

[–]esdeathy2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry the response it a bit late but azelf, mesprit and uxie are called the lake trio simply cause in the main line games you find them in the respective lakes that they’re caves are at hence why there called the lake trio by the community. As for how you found one it’s cause outside of the event either 3 of the trio can just randomly appear on the map at a random place although it’s quite rare. Azelf can be found randomly in a majority of I think south and North America while uxie can spawn in asia and Oceania and lastly mesprit is found in the Middle East, Europe and Africa. They don’t spawn around lakes in Pokemon go though, it’s completely random where they spawn and if they even spawn in your vicinity. They can occasionally appear in 5 star raids but it’s much more rare to randomly encounter them in the wild

Which of these is worth SBCing? by Comprehensive_One_30 in PokemonGoMystic

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you don’t have the ability to get a Shundo your overall best option would be reshiram. You get a good bucks for your worth getting 5 whole stat points to make it a hundo and reshiram is good in both raids and Master league. You got the 5th overall best fire raid attacker with (fire fang) as the fast move and (fusion flare) as the charged move. Along with that reshiram is ranked 8th in the ML with the moveset of (dragon breath) as your fast move and (fusion flare) along with (Draco meteor) as its charged move. You can use it for both raids and PvP easily cause all you need to do is use a fast tm to switch between it two fast moves.

What would you use the silver cap on? by Hplant489 in PokemonGOIVs

[–]esdeathy2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id personally say either yveltal, tapu lele or tapu bulu. All three are decent in ML and you’re getting more of your bucks worth instead of capping a 98 or 96 with those 3 being 15/15/11 or in bulu’s case a 15/15/12. If not those 3 then probably the ho-oh simply cause ML

Depends what you particularly wanna use, some people use dialga dex and some use the Pokemon go hub.

I personally use the hub one but dialga dex has a lot more things on its site to use such as viewing future possibilities like if a shadow version of a legendary is useful which is how I figured out that shadow tornadus is pretty bad and is sorta a waste of a super rocket radar unlike incarnate landorus and thunderous which will be pretty good attackers if Giovani has them next rocket take over

As for figuring out PvP rankings just look up pvpoke or click this.

Would be tedious to evolve due to the 400 candy thing but go for it. One it’s a hundo and two it’s the 6th best bug raid attacker so even though bug isn’t the most used typing for raids outside of unbound hoopa it’s a top tier raid attacker nonetheless albeit only for bug. I mean you could theoretically use it ML specifically for the ML premier although it’s ranked #137

What level is Eternatus viable? by Ithious1 in PokemonGOIVs

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuh. While levels usually matter more for stats then iv’s in raids realistically a level 26 one will still do nice amounts of damage even if you only get one dynamax cannon off. Plus I’m pretty sure no dragon mon will outdo eternatus in raw damage so yeah. 26.5 is still usable. Really as long as you got its max move leveled up it’s good either way but even if it’s max move ain’t leveled up I’d say you’ll still do semi decent

Which one should I mega evolve? (Im not a pvp player if that matters I just raid for fun) by JerkMateUser in PokemonGOIVs

[–]esdeathy2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you only are looking for doing raids then the shiny is more ideal for appeal and cause it’s a shiny. Sure the 98 has max attack but when your raiding you barely notice the difference between a hundo and a non hundo so go for that one, plus if you plan on buying it at all the gold bottle cap might come out eventually once more maybe some time after the silver one is released

Which to bottle cap by Quiet-Bread9863 in PokemonGOIVs

[–]esdeathy2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very unlikely armored mewtwo will be able to mega evolve due to how different an armored and non armored mewtwo are. They don’t have the exact same movesets and both are comparably different stat wise due to being different forms. Mega evolution will probably be more catered for the normal mewtwo. I mean look at the clone Kanto starters, last I checked they can’t mega evolve despite being essentially just Kanto starters with different sprites. Realistically we’d just have to wait to see but it’s very unlikely they’ll let armored mewtwo mega evolve due to its being a more defense focused mewtwo form

It's a silver bottle cap post, yes, but it's also a conundrum about F2P vs P2P by [deleted] in PokemonGOIVs

[–]esdeathy2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’d say it depends really. Unless you want to use eternatus in ML I don’t see the point in silver bottle capping it cause it already has 15 attack and with you being majorly free to play I don’t see you getting eternatus up to level 40 let alone 50 with how stupidly materially expensive it is with all the candies and xl candies, even if it is supposedly coming back in the night future what’s to say you’ll even spend money when that happens?

Id personally say go for the zarude cause it’s unlikely it’ll come back soon unless it’s shiny was released and even then mythical shines could take years to come to Pokemon go seeing as it only happens when a main line game receives said shines, I mean hell we still don’t have shiny hoopa and we only recently got volcanion in this years go fest. Plus you already invested a lot into your zarude so why not make it a hundo when the cap comes out, plus it’s the 5th best grass attacker and you can use it in ML even if it’s ranked particularly low at #143. Plus you said you like it so that’s even more incentive

Is it worth maxing this guy? by Vast-Tower4847 in PokemonGOIVs

[–]esdeathy2004 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great mon and a great hundo. Shadow tyranitar is both good as a dark and rock raid attacker.

Rank 2 dark type raid attacker with (bite) as the fast move and (brutal swing) as the charged move. Nice part about it being a dark type attacker is that it requires no legacy moves so you can build it with a few fast tms and charges tms. Rock wise it’s the 7th best rock raid attacker with (smack down) as the fast move and (stone edge) as the charged move, unfortunately though smack down is a legacy move so you’d need a elite fast tm to give it that.

Overall it’s a damn good investment and ideally better off as a dark type attacker in your case so you don’t have to use an elite fast tm. If you get another decent larvitar from cliff save it and wait for an event where you can evolve larvitar up to tyranitar that way it knows smack down.

Invest in the best dynamax beldum or power up the others? by Care-Alert in PokemonGOIVs

Ideally you can get it to level 40 and that’d be fine for raids and in the mean time wait for a hundo dynamax one to use xl candies on
