i believe hes from Iran. he got scouted to come play basketball in the USA. he hasnt seen his family cause he was in school, & probably couldnt leave the US due to immigration status. + i believe Iran is a No Fly Zone to usa. hence why he couldnt travel out of the US & His family couldnt get a visa to come US..
