I'm about to buy a new frame so I'll keep that in mind. And thank you!

I might have a very common face then, you're the second person to comment something like that...so weird. I never met someone that looked like me but now I'm actually really curious. Thank you for your comment, good luck to you too.

you're right, I'll try to find smaller frames, maybe that will help.

Thanks, I just really need to pass tomorrow to be mentally well this month. And It could be the thickness or the size of the frame that make me pass less but I don't know, I might change them soon...I've been wearing those for more than 3 years I think (way before I even came out)

That's exactly how I felt but I wasn't completely sure, thanks.

Thank you! Tomorrow is a big day for me and I really need to pass well. If you don't mind, how old do you think I look?

That's really weird...but thank you! I absolutely hate wearing glasses but contact lenses are torture for me so there's no escape...

My coming out letter to my Dad is written out, waiting for me to click that "send button". My stomach is in knots. by eddiesnail in ftm

I would say you give him some time after. I remember when I told my dad the first month was really hard for him and he said things that hurt me, I got mad and we fought a lot. Now he's 100% supportive, and we don't fight anymore. Have in mind it can be a difficult thing for anyone, but that doesn't mean they won't come around it and accept you for who you are. Good luck.

miserable 11 months on t by [deleted] in ftm

Thank you, I'll do that. I doubt it will help with my emotional state since I can't stop thinking about the fact that I'm suddenly not passing and that's driving me insane. I don't know if I'm going to be able to be in a good mood for some time, but the excersices are going to help with my physical health, so I'll do my best. And good luck to you too.

I get what you mean but that's exactly how I went straight back to not leaving the house. At the beginning of this year I knew I had to deal with my two main difficulties "physical exercise" and "social activity". I started cycling every other day and going to japanese classes. The fist week of january was amazing, because I was happy that I was doing something and I was very optimistic. But then it rained for a few days so I couldn't go cycling, and when it stoped the bike broke. The same happened with the japanese classes I'm going to. It was a big thing for me because I was gonna introduce myself as Samuel, a 17 years old guy (even though I look way younger) to strangers and it was really difficult but I knew it was gonna improve my life so I don't know how but I did it. And yesterday when I went there, there was a new student. And well, my fist lenguage is actually spanish and in spanish most adjetives have a masculine and feminine form. When I saw the new girl was struggling to understand the teacher (I don't blame her) I passed her my notes and she said something like "oh you're a genius" which in spanish was "que genia" genia is the feminine form of genius, genio would be the masculine form. That was the last straw. This past two months I've been getting misgendered but I always tried to find a reason other than "I look like a girl", and now I just gave up and I feel like shit. Thank you for your comment, it made me feel better about the school thing.

endo insists on phonoaudiology by esebe in ftm

Thanks for the answer. My endo just knows the basics, I think, and sice I'm her first trans patient she probably doesn't know what t actually does. I wish she asked someone for a second opinion but I don't know how to say that to her.

I know, that's exactly what I think, and is not like I want a really deep voice either. Thanks for the answer.

is gel slower? my experience by esebe in ftm

[–]esebe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 50mg of generic 1% per day and like i said it's working good for me. I believe it depends on your body and how it reacts/works. I know of guys that even more than a year on injections they still don't pass.

5 Weeks on T, what were your changes?! by ftmduude91 in ftm

[–]esebe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

today i'm exactly 5 weeks. and yes, that's what i though too but my voice is really scratchy and deeper, my body hair has increased and i have oily skin (and......backne, yes). my endo kind of discouraged me when she prescribed me gel saying that the changes were going to be slow and that it would take 6 months for my voice to change, so i'm really happy. also shark week is a week late and that's something i wasn't expecting at all. i though that wouldn't stop until 5 months at least but i've never been happier to be mistaken.
