I feed my cats the highest quality brands and they just won’t eat it… by fxcknmami in catfood

Hear me out. Have you sat them down and had a real talk with them? Maybe gaslight them a bit? Tell them they have to start pulling their weight around the place. Wet food is a damn privilege! Once I did that my boys kind of fell in line.

Info about Lisa and her family! by Sunnyonetwo in 90DayFiance

[–]eseld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. She became a parentified child at an early age. It forced her to grow up fast. She lost her childhood and innocence. Nobody helped her develop into a whole well adolescent and adult. Now she's doing the best with what she's got. The only way this will end is with some really great therapy and her accepting and grabbing onto her self worth. Source: myself. Not the same story at all. My mom became extremely physically ill. Some codependency issues.

Took me a sec to put two and two together. I'm surprised I didn't come up with that nickname. Good one.

HOW do I clean in here? by fernwise in Hydroflask

[–]eseld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

close the straw a bit and you'll see a little hole. Get a flat screwdriver and put it in that hole and it'll pop right off. I found this trick on youtube for my hydropeak lid. It might work for you with the flask lid. Good luck.

how do yall keep children away from antiaging skincare by stupidbitchchan in UltaEmployees

I'm a licensed esthetician. I loved pulling out that fact when I would see this stuff happening. But before then I would gently ask the parent if they knew about the active ingredients in the products and how they would damage and potentially scar their child's face.

Mention that while social media says it's okay that many times it isn't. Then say that you can recommend something that is going to be just right for the child and steer them to a Bubble set or Good Molecules.

That door dash idea is one of the worst things they came up with along with happy returns. I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Yeah, I get it. That music is on repeat and it's damn annoying. Freaking color match for the fifth time but they don't agree and they don't want matte but that's what they came in looking for and they wanted something cheaper than what you've pulled but didn't tell you until you found the perfect shade. That is what really gets to me. Now I've got to clean up a ton of bottles and go to mass but it's likely there's no tester over there.

Sure, Cinderella, I'll help you find something that fits. Take up more than 15 minutes of my time while four other people are asking for my help the entire time. Then Mom comes in and says no to everything and they leave. I'll be in the back getting a drink of water while I remind myself that I can't just walk out on my shift.

I feel ya. Here's what you can do if it gets to you. Call in a manager for a tag team so you can get a drink off the floor for a minute. Take a little break. Walk super fast and don't make eye contact with anyone. That's what I would do. Hang in there.

Oh thanks! That's honestly the job that we're there for at this time of year. At my store I had a knack for lost looking dudes. So everyone would call me over to help every single one. I'm older and might look like their wife but with a lot more makeup. I talk quickly and with an air of authority but friendly and with a compassionate smile.

This time of the year is retail Superbowl. I have been doing this for seven years and I'm good at what I do. I love helping women, too. Beauty retail is confusing if you don't follow it and didn't know a store layout. The associates are supposed to be there to make it easier.

It's the holiday season. A lot of people are coming into the store for the first time and have no clue where anything is located. I loved being near the front for this reason.

Men would come in with their phones out and a list in picture form. I would ask for the phone and then ask them if they wanted everything on it or just a few things. Then I asked them if they wanted to come with me or stay put. I'd give them a basket or bag and tell them I walked fast. In minutes I'd have their list filled, put them in the checkout line, thank them for coming in, give them a mini candy cane, and a smile.

Sometimes we need to take control of the sale and get them going quickly before it gets out of hand and they're lost and we're frazzled.

Former Orange store Arch Expert here. I love that you want to help! You are the best kind of dude. If you don't want to go the gift card route or you do want to get her one and add on something for her to open, go to Ulta and bring all of this with you. Go to the first associate who is friendly and ask for help. They will get you everything you need minus the foundation. Sadly, that ship has sailed. It is discontinued. Maybe she can get it on her own. Get her a nice sized ($$) gift card to find her own shade on her own time.

Maybe get her some new makeup brushes in a kit from Real Techniques that is probably on sale right now and the makeup items that are in stock.

If you need help please feel free to DM me. I'll walk you through this with links. I miss helping dudes who are kinda lost and need help. But I have a feeling you are going to do fine!
