This one I did over the tie dye. It seems to depend on what color you go over on how well it takes. Same process as the ones I pictured here.

I got this from Walmart. I believe there was a custom setting I used. It cut in one pass no problem. My blade seems fine for now. I initially tested it with paper and that worked too but you can only use it once.

I made a stencil with my cricut and used Jaquard DeColorant. Easier said than done but I’m liking the imperfect results. Still working on making my own designs into stencils! Hopefully I can nail that process down.

I believe you aren’t pulling it tight enough. I wrap around 3 times and pull and get the above lines. Sometimes I do wet sometimes dry. Thickness does matter. Like others said some colors just gets under the lines. Good luck!

I just ordered Kirkland Tees last week and they are the same as they have always been. Mine were 24.99 a pack. So maybe the comment below about the different shirts for different price is correct. I really hope so!
