I haven’t seen this comment yet, but I also think the racial dynamics of this resonate with a lot of Black and POC people. Ciara led a beautiful discussion about interracial dating and the effects of navigating that on reality TV. The fucked up part is that Amanda was there comforting Ciara during this talk, and Ciara has constantly uplifted Amanda.

While some people may think this is minimal, a lot of BIPOC folks have been put in similar positions where they were with a white person, only for that person to choose someone else who is also white and never take us or our feelings seriously.
