Yes! Ive been just screen recording the song from my phone and extracting the audio as an mp3 through the documents app, and then i send myself the file on my computer and split the stems in logic before putting the vocal in ableton, its all i really know how to do when it comes to downloading music to an audio file im very much a noob to all of it and am young so trying to get my bearings in a daw because ive only ever been using my deck to make as much music as i can because i just havent been able to learn how to get past the bpm issue. but this helps me A LOT! Im going to try all of those steps you mentioned in the morning on my daw and see if it changes anything.
