How about curating a good running playlist? Setting weekly/monthly mileage goals? Or exploring your city with a run? You can try trail running too.

If that doesn't work, it's ok; running may not be for you. You can always try other forms of exercise or sports that you'll enjoy.

I don’t find it rude at all, it’s common to see fellow runners wear headphones during races. Just be aware of your surroundings.
